Hey I just runed PCMark05 under Windows 7 fresh installed 32bit. I have got around 9000 LOL, with same clocks. Win XP is better in all of my systems

Thank you, I have just seen that as I am a student at the university I can have windows vista business with SP2 for free. Damn, 2.8 GB to download with my 120ko/s bandwith. It is going to take 2 days

I dont have the 32bit version of vista, only 64bit. I will buy it, is it better to have it with or without any SP

How with only one OCZ Vertex 2 you've got 197MB/s at windows startup ?. With only one, I can only have 60 MB/s is mine dead ?

I have tried windows XP and Windows 7(64bit) and XP won with an advantage of 3000 pts. ( maybe because I used 64bit version, or because my windows XP is very soft. As I don't know any tweaks I always use fresh installations ). I will try the 32bit version ASAP.

What is powertoy ? And how to use a program as PCMark is going to abort tests if you leave his window ? For me it seems impossible to cheat with PCMark, do you have a proof or a video ?

not same clock, and celeron is without HT and P4 is with HT. It wasn't plan to hide the score, I was tired after 63 runs, as the system was unstable I quickly opened cpu-z and gpuz to take a screenshot. Now, I have seen that I have less sub-scores than evocarlos, so there is something weird here. So I rerun PCMark05 but with 300 mhz FSB, and the score is around 12000 WoW, I thing one of the multithreading test was bugged for my 13000s submissions, as often the audio compressions test was failing, maybe this time he bugged so it gave me higher score.( or an other end test ) => I am going to remove 13000s score right now. You all were right, thank you. Regards ( and sorry for that, I was thinking that when a test was going wrong, it just failed, not bugged )

CrystalDiskMark is not illegal, and I don't know any tweaks for PCMarks.

Thx, I was still using CrystalDiskMark to reduce the test @ 220MB/s, but it's rare to have 220Mb/s, very often 230Mb/s. Anyway I am going to have a ''rules ok'' result ASAP EDIT : Even a better result than Evocarlos , back to the lead (of stage 1 )

I know, arf, for 0.326 mb/s. Damn, I know that my P4 630 is hating me like hell by now. I am going to do another 10 runs.

Is 233MB/s allowed . Damn with the P4 630 I can't go down more than 230. EDIT : Damn reached to go down to 217MB/s but the audio compression test failed at the end.

Thx,(from you it a very important ''Well done'') I am benching the Pentium 4 630 by now, but I don't know why, He already done PCMark05 @ 4.6 and now I am only able to run 4.35. Damn maybe it's the wrong 630 (I have 3 Pentium 4 630)
