whilst i have the attension of a few big players i'm getting mixed answers to another question - whilst having a play with opteron atm are last gen es permitted in xoc (espically as they are available on ebay / eula etc ignored). or are all es cpus for pro oc league only? tyvm in advance.

Unfortunately all cpus clock to the lowest rated chip speed when mismatched. TPC will rescue it somewhat but not for this run

just noticed this and need advice. i'm about to attempt an opteron setup using mismatched chips. i'm pretty sure i can do it but before i make an attempt i had a look at the sub options and noticed i can't choose core count. so, if i want to use a pair of opteron 6128s (8 core) and a pair of 6180s (12 core) for a 40 core sub, how would i go through the submission page?

a little over dramatic tbh. i certainly don't beleive hwbot's relevence lies in the admittance of es samples into the rankings do you? as for my opinion on es - i can't an see issue with last gen es being allowed into any league. more often than not any gem still alive at skt change starts doing the rounds in the fs section. current gen es for pro league stands and everyones happy apart for 60% of the pros who didn't like the new version of the league anyway.

it's been a while since i've run aqua but you used to need to change the am3.exe name to something different like iaihisdcnha.exe and it'd run multi-thread

all good Leeghoofd. i'm not giving anyone the giddy up lol. most of us have great respect for the mods and their time. reporting the sub i thought would be helpful. i'll prolly be noted as a dick because i've spotted a few today. nothing was meant personally, although it likely will be taken that way by those reported, i just thought i'd offer a hand to the few subs remaining that were considered disallowed. (guessing that some pulled their best sub thinking all good and sorted forgetting a backup was in the system )

reported for use of f2d - (icon description can just be seen in the btm left where you've tried to white out the area). TW score excessively high for clocks... faster than anyone in top 10 4 core inc folks hitting 60k+ overall score. use of Opera instead of default is also possible looking at your browser.

u r right that f2d was not singled out until after the 2012 team cup but it was noted as breaking the longstanding rule that "Any software or human interaction altering the perceived speed of the benchmark program, tricking it to believe it ran faster" is disallowed and f2d was enforced retroactively. all who used it were asked to pull their subs before they got removed. this sub as well as several others have flown under the radar.

reported for use of flash2desktops. icon can just be seen in your ss as well as your score being 20k+ higher than anyone else in the top 10. (pretty sure f2d had not been ruled out formally before last years team cup but it has now). i don't mean to be an arse.
