After testing 4 retail cpu's all the same batch and I can say there is some variance, but most of them are crap, and high input voltage / vcore can easily wound/degrade/kill a chip.
ES seems stronger at this time, and definitely more voltage resistant, but then again we haven't seen any Costa cpu's, at least here in the US. Guess time will tell.

Wow, truly GSkillin it!

Aquamark is a straight cpu/memory test, vga clocks mean little.
I would run at least 4c 4t if possible and the highest cpu/memory clocks you can run.
Freezing ram is a good idea for this one as well:)

Do you mean the Intel INF drivers or the Intel Management Engine Drivers? At this point, Intel has not released ME drivers for XP. I have searched Intel's site and they were only for W7 and W8.
So for now, BCLK adjustment will not work in Windows XP.
The ME drivers I have allow me to change bclk in Windows with TurboV on the M6E.

maybe help a tiny bit, you remember that setting we saw in early haswell memory OC leaks, tRDRD in GBT BIOS this is called tRRSR i find some increasing this it helps a few MHz(about 25-100mhz).
5 should be good up to 2800 and is much faster than 6, but you are right is should gain a bit for higher mhz runs.

^ no the early valids for 7Ghz required 2.5vcore and 3.04 input, much higher than any retail can probably take.
