  1. E2140 4560MHz Super Pi 1M, 13.328s, really sucks, right? http://hwbot.org/submission/2903961
  2. This E2140 is strong, and wierd as well. If, if, if it crashed during 2d bench, then system power off, it won't work againt, even 500X8 still power off, no matter what I want to do. Then I have to stop, remove pot, wait tomorrow... I don't know what I could blame, CPU? Mobo? Temperature? The most important thing is, I am a disappointing benchmarker, hahaha
  3. about 498FSB on air, 1.5V Vtt still failed to 500+
  4. All my P35 mobo dead, and not good at X38/X48, so I found a crap P5Q-P to use
  5. In 2007, Mr.Sang's E2140 can do 525FSB on air http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?165719 I still have three E2140 (M0) can do 480~490FSB on ambient, and L2 stepping really sucks...
  6. I believe you will get your golden E2140 someday, for you have batches database, not like me, just by chance...
  7. This chip is not Air-King, about 1.36V@5GHz get into OS according my memory. You can see http://hwbot.org/submission/2277245 for air test of this chip.
  8. You can defeat me easily, my chip has tried its best
  9. I guess so, just like many E2140/E2160 and E5200 stop at 300~400 FSB, and different CM 925 do different Max FSB on my mobo
  10. In fact I did Socket BSEL mod too, FSB 800 to 1066. Vccp mod is the key to get high FSB, Vcca mod and Vmem mod seems not so helpful, my Samsung Memory don't like high Voltage. FSB limited more probably by CPU, I think. I have other CM 925, one can do FSB 383MHz Max on air and 405Mhz by LN2; one only do 336MHz on air. This nice chip can do FSB 392 Max on air
  11. Crazy stuff comes again . Many mods for this points: VID mod, Vcore mod, Vccp(also Vnb) mod, Vmem mod, Mem spd mod, Vcca(Vpll) mod. Used CPU pot, NB pot, and Mem pot. Still FSB limited, higher than previous though. Another stuff in this: http://hwbot.org/submission/2511974, you may like it
  12. Just like what I said, L3014 is deadly killer . Hard to find this chip in China, need more crazy work on CM 900/925 ~~
  13. DELL Latitude D630 is PM965 too, can boot at FSB 1066 by mobo PLL pinmod. You also can see this page: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hardware-components-aftermarket-upgrades/393027-pll-pinmod-overclocking-methods-examples.html For Mobile Celeron 900 (925) chip, firstly can do Socket BSEL pinmod by copper wire, that is a safe way. If it not worked, then have to do mobo PLL pinmod, a harder and more dangerous way. Meantime watch your Memory clock, may lead to crash if too high.
  14. To Mat_Agnesi: You can try FSB 800 to 1066 BSEL pinmod, if it worked, may help to get 315MHz+
  15. Chipset limited I think, 3:4 ratio is MCH 200 strap, top trap for PM965, you need a PM45 mobo, by which you can get 266 strap and so higher Freq.
  16. I have to say X5698 is a horrible chip
  17. L3014 will be a deadly killer for this bench, I have to work harder now
  18. Sorry man, my mistake have corrected
  19. This's wytiwx (Wei), not my friend Ivan
  20. If you cann't buy this adapter on ebay, welcome to china internet market---taobao
  21. This i3 540 not a good chip under LN2, CB -133C
