  1. Well, I tried 500 pcs E2140 and found only one can do 580 LN2, but Mr. Hackeronzo only bin 42 pcs. Luck you know, just like lottery.
  2. In fact, I got poor bechmark skills, and not too much time so I just mainly digged some CPUs and push freq. as much as I can.
  3. THX, man. Waiting for your 750 submission. This E8600 is a lucky chip in fact, got scratch on IHS, hard to read the whole batch. I can't even remember what I got this CPU for, but I tested another ~100 chips for FSB, but no better one than this E8600. I bought two EP45T-UD3R boards months ago, this is the better one.
  4. For my chip, max 770 I think, unless find a better chip, the other people would make it
  5. VCR about E8400 740MHz FSB bench SuperPi 1M: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1af4y1s7qQ/
  6. THX, I will try ASUS X48 for 700 FSB, but probably not so high clock for some reasons just like TaPaKaH said
  7. Glad to see your great freq. and benching scores again. They are charming all the time.
  8. You will see, just made 750 FSB validation become ordinary Hope SAMUEL D. & FRANCK D. won't think that I cracked CPU-Z validator one more time
  9. I did not get a good enough EP45T-E by now, none of them can load WinXP @ 650FSB on air, I may need cold NB, but EP45T-E is too rare for me to bench under LN2
  10. Perhaps I edited the HEX value at the wrong mchbar address, I need to study that topic about strap tweaks.
  11. Vcore ~1.96V, CPU temp. ~ -120℃, NB temp. can't remember, because -30 to -90 all be fine for just 705 FSB.
  12. On air, I usually test pi 1M @ 5GHz first, the try max core clock on post screen.
  13. THX, man. I will try this method.
  14. tried mchbar edition but saw littile progress on mem bandwith or super pi
  15. the 710 air boot cpu is a E8600, not this E8500.
  16. E8500 + EP45-UD3, CPU-Z 6.70GHz done! https://hwbot.org/submission/4724125 can do SuperPi 1M @ 6.40GHz but low efficiency
