i am sorry but that isn't correct about the job role and such, they have been changed back since CES and why the Z77 UEFi is better than P67, Z68, and X79. The board just doesn't like you. FYi that topdog of BIOS team is now head of R&D. It went down hill since P67 launch but is on its way up since Z77, it has more way to go, but I have faith it will get better than it was with X58.

please try F8D BIOS, and then max out all the 3d power settings regarding vcore. VCore voltage protection is the amount of voltage above the limit that it will allow. So 300mv is 0.3v above whatever gb has set, it is stupid I know. There should be some later unlocked BIOS for the UD5H, as those two are old i personally prefer the newer ones even if they are a bit limited, as i would never bench with over 1.9v set anyways. and even without +6 LLC that is like 1.87v under load that is enough, but if you need the legacy benchmark enhance or something then use the S2. I forget which but one of the benching BIOSes has no reset for BCLK, so you had to go to 105mhz and then 110mhz if you wanted to go high, i think one of the others had that fixed. Current protection just set extreme. Oh don't max out switching frequency, that is the only one not to max. I max them out without an issue, however Dino likes to only change LLC, you can try both ways, but if the voltage is being the limit then increase the OVP.

IMO you need at least 7.00000GHz before you can claim 7G, asus did it and gb did it. GB even waited until they found a 7g CPU before stating it, even tho they had 6.9XXX

massman, do not worry lol, this is how asus tries to "discredit" people who don't drink their "kool-aid" they just say, "oh they hate us." lol IDK it is kind of odd for me b/c a lot of people hate a lot of other companies, but none of those companies have employees that go on the forums and say, "oh don't listen to what he says b/c he hate us", many times that is exactly what employees of those other companies should do when faced with actual trolls, however there must be a standard code of conduct for the other companies when dealing with people, something which i really do not think ASUS has. The truth is ASUS hates me, but I don't hate them, would I ever do business with them? Not unless they started to treat people better and understood they aren't always the best and they aren't always right, because the truth is they aren't.

batch consistency? Yea same as sandy bridge i would say. Some CPUs in same batch can't even do 5G, not all of them get high frequency? my theory is that out of every batch you can get a few good CPUs. The 6.8G is very good. Why do all malaysia suck? Well this was a while ago, and I just sent them to they could look at them and see if they were getting the same results as i was. I think they had their own kit back then, but the more the merrier, some kits might not do as well as others. However many times it is best for manufacturers to go out and buy their own kits, to get the retail product which the end user will use. Also I don't know how popular the samsungs are over in Taiwan, I know in Europe they are hard to get so it might be the same in some other select regoins. The whole green thing is probably much bigger in the states. Also the samsungs have no XMP like other kits that have to be evaluated and added to the QVL. I think you should make it like the GB BIOS so it is easier for new users to use.

They actually got their own set now(matching batch numbers too), so i can have my sticks back to play with(mine are a mismatched pair of batch number even though it doesn't matter haha)! There is hope i think. Are you going to leave it tWCL? or change it to tWL?

Yea that would be great. yea it is interesting that some of them are single sided. I am guessing it depends on their price? the $100 kit is single sided.
