Up for sale are some dead and of untested motherboards. There are two apex ix's one has some bent pins and the other one shows no sighs of damage besides the chipset cover which is missing a plastic piece, I do not have a cpu to test the board with. There is a z68 pro m3 that has a few bent pins and has no heatsinks. An msi pvo vdh without heatsink and a DFI nf 590 sli that doesn't have a nb/chipset northbridge. I don't have CPU's for any of these platforms so assume that all of them are for repair or parts. Asking 100 for the lot + shipping.

@Noxinite what voltage and what test did to use for your core frequency test. I was using linx and am seeing how they compare. Either my chips are bad or I am using a lower voltage/different test.

These are the CPU's that didn't hit 460 fsb in quick testing. There might be some good ones for air/water or ss/dice cooling in here but didn't meet my requirements for a 5.2ghz chip. I am looking for 80+ shipping.

I might be willing to sell my f1 dark pro. It is also usable for dice.

This is the best I have gotten at 2.08v PPL on my second best chip I have found so far. Is that too high of PLL for air? I do not want to use a high PLL on the better chip but if it scales the same way I expect it to hit 485 or higher. 480_fsb.bmp

So I just went through 70 out of hundreds of my 2180's and I got about 23 that could do 450- fsb. Out of those only one could do above 460 and it hit 463. Does this fsb wall raise under cold or am I missing some important setting? If the latter I will keep tinkering. Any help is appreciated.

I have a venom and a dark pot and for gpu I have a homemade pot and a slim. I don't have a car so I am limited to the amount of liquid nitrogen that I am willing to carry about two miles. I have thought about doing the cross mod with a cnc to the venom but I don't want to damage it.

I know it's not that smart but for me I can only get 10 liters of ln2 20 if I am lucky so saving 1-2L using a cascade to pre chill can save about 10% of my ln2 available.

So this might be a stupid idea but if you were to make a mounting bracket for a ln2 pot for a phase change unit you could bring the temperature of the pot down to save on ln2 use. If anyone has tried this or has any insight into this let me know.

Thank you everyone for contributing. I will try to add my binning data to this thread once I finish going through the 2180's. The best I have gotten so far is about 3.55 ghz at 1.5 volts under water so nothing amazing but I still have over 150 to go through so it is going to take a while.

Thank you both for sharing. @Noxinite when you bin cpus do you buy single cpus or lots of them. I just got a lot of 300 775 cpus for 80$ off ebay and was wondering if it is a bad idea or not.

I am looking to see if people are willing to share their binning data on a few cpu's, the i7 920, e2180, e2200, and any other cpu/gpu binning data people are willing to share.

@rushed down, if you know where to look you can get CPU's by the pound. I got about 775cpus for about 20 cents a piece

I already have a few ix's that I used for 7350k and 7700k benching but I am looking for a motherboard for 8700k's and 9900k testing. I would get the oc formula but my soldering iron is way too big to do the mod.
