A benchmark at HWbot without HWboints is worthless imho. per month: - MaxxMem: 250 submissions - Reference clock: 233 submissions - PCMark Vantage: 38 submissions (lol) vs - Aquamark: 1000+ submissions - Wprime 32M: 1000+ submissions Adding DX11 only doesn't make it an alternative to Futuremark 3D benchmarks at HWbot. Adding both DX11 and DX9 profiles with HWBoints make Unigine real competition for Futuremark 3D dominated landscape. popularity of a benchmark is determined by HWboint

it's not "moving forward". It's an elitist move. giving a new benchmark to a handful of people, ignoring the other 99% of active benchers at HWbot

If a bench has DX9 capability as well as DX11 support; it would be shortsighted to cut out a large user group, that would be just stupid nothing is said that DX9 and DX11 modes are exclusive. Unigine Heaven DX9 Unigine Heaven DX11 can peacefully co-exist imho. receiving boints for both but hey :celebration: party! either way if Unigine submits directly HWbot, superduperdevelopment, first 3D benchmark ever to do this

there's enough motivation to allow DX9 version with HWBoints to be used by all the older hardware, benching old hardware has been made popular by HWBot, releasing new benches that exclude old hardware would be, imho, counterproductive and against the goal of "the more the merrier"
