I always seem to end up hostelling in the red-light districts of town, where is this so I can avoid it? I see that Nangang and T101 are about 6km from each other, i guess by train thats not too hard. Smartcard I can handle. I dont speak any chinese, so I'll have to do train I guess. City is reasonably large, when you mean city centre, do you mean a certain district?

Hey, so as a person who is looking to attend computex for the first time, can you answer a few Taipei related questions I have? 1. which area do I need to stay near? 2. What are the dates of the hwbot event? (I know the show is 31st to the 4th) 3. Are there OC related demos on at the show? if so, what dates and venues? 4. on a scale of Ho Chi Minh city to Tokyo, how clean is Taipei? 5. can I drink the tap water, or bottled only? 6. I've seen some pics of Trouffman and Tim I think hiking in forested areas, is this nearby to Taipei or further away? 7. How does one get around cheaply? do you have motorcycle taxis, regular taxis, trains only? 8. which area do overclockers stay in and drink (ie, where should i look at accommodation?)
