  1. ludek111, if you're using IC7, why not use hipro5's mods?
  2. My bad - checked only for downloading. I'll report to the sites maintaner. Stay tuned.
  3. Really? http://classicplatforms.com/main/bios/Epox/index.php?dir=8RDA6%2B+Pro%2F Second link on the Google page.

  5. ludek111, WinNT should be your OS of choice, though Win2K should run too. Like it's said, XP requires CMPXCHG8B support but it has nothing to do with SMP (CMP stands for compare, not multiprocessing). It was implemented in Pentium family only. I haven't benched 486 yet, but I've read good enough. Feel free to ask.

Then why HWBot starts lagging with ranking calculations after 30-50 submissions?
  7. Please, add: Sony VAIO VPCEH2J1R http://valid.canardpc.com/xj5n68
  8. GENiEBEN, Karl used an SX - no FPU. that's a huge difference. frag_, don't forget that socket 3 bus width is twice less than socket 5/7. Big difference for Pi32. And he should build a specific config to achieve best results. ludek111, Cyrix 486 CPUs are weaker than Intel/AMD. Except the 5x86 series which are a whole different story (they could be called 6x86 beta). I see an interesting competition - make Pi32M in less than 4/3/2/1 weeks. And categories for SX/DX/DX2/DX4 and a separate one for Intel ODP/AMD X5/Cyrix 5x86. Due to conditions, there shouldn't be a month limitation, more like an ongoing. And CPU photo required to verify the category was chosen right.
  9. Maybe less than 2-3 months but definitely over a week for DX/DX2.
  10. More, much more Nice old school benching, kepp pushing!
  11. I've got 8 degrees out of my water tap. You mean I should use the one with hot water?
  12. That's an old bug - there was a bug "who submits last gets the highest ranking" with member ranking. It got fixed, but seems like not for team ranking.
  13. Maybe you've checked the same time of day. Usually it works around 22:00-01:00 UTC and around 7:00-14:00 UTC. Between 01:00-07:00 UTC it doesn't work for me too. I've just signed it off due to database recalculation.
  14. Oh, that's a normal situation when the database is running maintenance routines like recalculating. Try a bit later during the day. Happens only to CPU families, the CPU model page (checking Xeon E5620 instead of Xeon family) works fine during these AFAIK.
  15. Sweet, you just stole my words
  16. I mean - to the submissions.
  17. Don't forget to attach photos of the CPU with the markings, kotori-san! It'll make the crew's work much easier.

    You're a bit late, Splave http://forum.hwbot.org/showpost.php?p=311101&postcount=12
  19. Well in your case I can believe that tracing a PCB, printing it, soldering SMD components and slots, assembling a wire with connectors, uploading OS to Raspberry and setting up the software is much easier than running a software utility. Interesting news on LGA2011, thanks. I2C goes to MultiIO? Anyway, great work :celebration:
  20. Only if you don't need to install it in a memory slot
  21. Bad flash -> after POST press pause, stick in the bad module, boot to OS (the module isn't seen in system because it's after POST but it's connected to I2C). And flash it like it was there as usual. R-W knows Intel PCH (flashed with 6-th Gen chipsets, haven't run on newer ones yet).

TiN, long time no see, nice work! Question to the rest - why is this easier than the software way?
