Come on, this is more complicated that that. I see only two options here: 1) make existing PRO OC CUP submissions made on Win8 invalid and force those people rebench on Win7 2) let existing Win8 submissions be and make special exception to allow benching on Win8 for the contest It would be totally unfair if existing Win8 submission will be let go, but making new sumbissions on Win8 would be banned.

Something weird with my setup. Z77 FTW works ok with e.g. GTX 580. But when I put one of my HD 7970 there is no image at all. 7970 cards work ok with another boards. When I put GTX 580 and change "Fast PEG Initalization" to "off" and then switch card to HD 7970 I got an image, but board always hangs during booting and nothing can be done. I also tried switching PCIe to GEN 2.0 and disabling Intel GMA, but it didn't make a difference. I checked all official BIOSes: 1.10, 1.12, 1.17, 1.21 and 1.22 - still the same issue. I am struggling with this for hours... I guess it is something with PCIe settings, but I have no idea what to change apart what I already changed.

What BIOS have you used? As you seen my M3E did well, but first I tried i5-661 on P55 Classified. And it was total disaster...

For me no Titan. GTX 780 only if Lightnings are out. If not, then stick to HD 7970 / GTX 680. Benchmarks: 1) UCBench 2) 3DM 03 3) 3DM 11 Performance

Yeah, CPU is fine, but my mem without LN2 won't go higher. I have six other UTT/BH-5 kits, but I don't know what are they capable of.

@Massman, thank you once more! :-) GEN2 really helped. Running with BCLK 109 now :-) I will stick to the black slot.

@Xgamespati I have tried BBSE, PSC and MNH-E in different slots. Always the same. Thanks Massman :-) I will try this. You assume right, I use 7970 Matrix. The question is which combination will be better. GEN3 orange slot with higher latency, or black slot GEN2 with lower latency...

LOL, my UP7 is acting weird... When GPU is in black PCIe slot increasing BCLK also increases PCIe freqency - all over 103MHz means black screen. Orange slot is ok of course. Any ideas? I have tried 3 different BIOSes and two CPUs. Still the same. Shouldn't the multiplier for PCIe be fixed?

Well, I killed two 7900 GTX But fortunately remained with another two. One is very good ~1GHz GPU and ~1GHz RAM, but all other three turned out to be crap.

Too bad we had to make LGA 2011 submission at the very last moment If not, it is most likely we would make better score with 7900 GTX.

8800 Ultra are not as fragile as 8800 GTS 512 :-) And they have better MEM bandwidth.

ES hardware allowed? What "different sockets" at stage 4 exactly mean? I can use the same Phenom on AM3 and then on AM2 board for two results?

I have couple of CL2 sticks: PQI, Crucial... But they don't clock well. I also have two CL3 that make 190 MHz http://hwbot.org/submission/2309699 But they are 2x128MB and don't make CL2. Tualatin was 2.10V, thanks to v-mod ;-) I will try CUSL-2C with modded BIOS or ST-6 and buy another Tualatin.
