The official HWBOT Country Cup 2013 thread.

Yes but whatever score you did manage to put up should be good for first place in the stage once you post it... -

No bugs here that I can detect. Was getting 23k-ish stock with 6630D2 (3870K/6550D + HD 6570), scaling up to 28k predictably w/ various OC's. My drivers (Cat 13.9 64-bit for APU) reliably switch dual graphics on and off w/ GPU-Z showing either "Crossfire enabled (2 GPUs)" or "Crossfire disabled (2 GPUs available)." I need to find your bugs so I can hit low 30's. I'm gonna start switching outputs around... EDIT: 23k seems low relative to 33k for ref on 6690D2, must be the lower clocks and DDR3 handicapping me on the 6570...with OC still doing 2-3k better than a comparably clocked 6550D, so there's clearly SOME benefit. -

Sweet dude, but if you can't, Massman should still be able to update the scores. All the better if you can do 34k+ with that 3850 though since we'll need the points in that stage. EDIT: Never mind Massman. I found the very helpful "remove from competition" link and clicked it for my 3850 sub, and now we are all good. Nevertheless QuickFast, go get 'em with that 3850. -

Massman can you add this score to Stage 7: http://hwbot.org/submission/2465528 To supersede my HD 3850 AGP score, which needs to be removed: http://hwbot.org/submission/2459828 And rolled back to QuickFast's HD 4670 AGP score for that slot http://hwbot.org/submission/2447035 I thought the database would do it automatically since I submitted the 6630D2 score most recently, but it didn't. Thanks! -

Llano decided to show up for the party dressed in some hot threads. He's working on a bit of a hangover, though, so he's not as fast as he'd like to be... -

Ruh-roh. Looks like those Llano subs I had cooking are going to get blown away by Michael Phelps. Splave which APU do you have there? -

In the meantime, would it be legit to start individual country threads under the HWBOT Competitions forum? They wouldn't be secure or private but they could help with coordination. Maybe we could all talk in codeā¦ -

Are there threads elsewhere that people know of for countries to coordinate subs? I couldn't find anything on the HWBOT Competitions page but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough... -

Awesome, awesome as usual - how many CPUs did you have to bin to find that guy? 6+ GHz is nice! -
Bullshooter - Radeon HD 5850 - 578491 marks Aquamark

Why no clocks posted? -
Given the lack of any official statement, I'm assuming that they're allowed. Because, as you point out, Varachio, time is probably too short now for people to come up with new subs.

HWBOT staff, can we get a rules clarification and update for the Northwood processors? Right now, the competition stages list Northwood P4 2.8 and 3.0 chips as legal. But they don't specify that these need to be the Northwood 'A' 100 MHz FSB chips, as opposed to the Northwood 'C' chips with 200 MHz FSB and HT. The 'C' chips were released in 2003 and should be specifically disallowed. I mention this because numerous submissions have been made with 'C' chips and if those are disallowed (which they should be by the rules), the competitors need time to generate new submissions. If this is already being addressed then I apologize for the redundancy.

When a score has no points -> Force recalculation

Thanks for the info. Just out of curiosity, any idea when/if it will be? -
Getting a funky bug when I try to submit a SuperPi 32M score and attempt to populate with hardware from a prior submission. I get red stop signs at the top of the form and a message to correct the problems and submit the form again, along with this error message: Property score threw exception; nested exception is java.lang.NullPointerException I've been submitting all evening and only get the error message in this particular scenario with SuperPi 32M.
