  1. Just voted, I am definitely in all 3 days either weekend, was able to block both off from work.
  2. Websmile, I asked Tejira's question about the 1155 stage in the main forum thread as well. So by "subfamilies" you actually just mean "models," right? So a country can submit, for example, i7-2700K and i7-2600K and both subs will count, even though they are both Sandy Bridge-K i7? Just want to be totally clear. Thanks!
  3. Awesome pictures @MSIMAX, thanks for sharing! It was a great weekend, just want to echo marc's thanks to everyone.
  4. Looks beautiful. About to hit the road, figure 6-ish arrival. Do we have an ambient O2 sensor? Going to be a LOT of ln2 evaporating in that room...
  5. I'll be there Friday night. # of attendees - just me room - not needed, already reserved HW - 2 bench tables w/ Z170 and FM2+, also 1 x 775 rig and maybe 2011v3 OR Z77 Extra HW - spare keyboard, mouse, 1280x1024 monitor, PSU (Antec HCG 750M) if others need them; I won't need any HW Looking forward to meeting everyone!
  6. Apologies if this has already been asked, but why no Pitcairn/Curaçao for SC1.5, Fire Strike Extreme? Doesn't seem fair to leave out the poor HD 7870/R9 270X, he just wants to play too... BTW comp organizers, well done, awesome stages this year!
  7. Thanks for the change Massman, can you update the OP to reflect this? See you Saturday.
  8. All jokes and gripes aside staff, can we get some clarification on this? If the goal is "to make sure everyone is equipped in time" as the post says, I can tell you for sure that Rasparthe and I are scrambling to get some non-B-die RAM that would be competitive (E-die or AFR) and that it may not get here in time for either of us, and that I suspect that others are in the same boat. So I think paradoxically the rule may make sure that some of us are NOT equipped in time.
  9. Wait a minute fellas, doesn't everyone have some B-die now? Seems a bit odd to disqualify it now, I know guys in Canada and the US who've been binning it for months…I would vote that it be allowed as long as the people competing in the world series all have access to some, which I'm betting they all do.
  10. Jesus Splave that image is burned into my eyeballs. I can't tell if he's eating it or vomiting it up. Trouff I should have posted before, have been emailing with xyala. I'm in, but can't get there until late Saturday morning. So… 1. Who is going ? MrBreeze 2. World Tour or freestyle only ? World Tour 3. Who can assist for the OC Workshop ? Not me, sorry, arriving too late 4. Transport mode ? Bringing Dewar ? Driving but no dewar 5. Are you ready to share place / room for sleeping ? Already have hotel with GF so no sharing, sorry fellas
  11. Just sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting to eat my dish of crow...can't believe you guys beat us...OH WAIT yes I can, USA as disorganized as ever [sour Manning face] That's for all our guys who were on the sidelines this year Well done Canada!
  12. Here's another: 4.2.0.8 - https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=5F309B53DE72154F!193&authkey=!AISqEDTMvEUEp0s&ithint=file%2cexe I have only used this version with Sandy Bridge-based x67 chipset systems. @Massman are there plans to make earlier versions legal for submission with legacy hardware? As of right now rules say only 5.1.2 and later...
  13. Massman I know you said FM2 and FM2+ are different sockets. But is that determined by the actual physical board the competitor is using, or by the socket that the APU was originally designed and released for? Put another way, can I run Trinity/Richland in an FM2+ motherboard and have it count as an FM2 sub, or will it be an FM2+ sub because of the physical socket being used? I suspect that it will be determined by chip and not by motherboard, based on the socket that is specified for each chip in the database.
