He ticked me off a week or so ago and I reported a few of his that were legitimately flawed. Stones in glass houses. Obviously can't find the rules page.

Nice one. That Aura is a sweet little board isn't it? -
Thanks for your time guys and putting up with our whining ha ha. Great competition all around.

Could someone have a look at these two subs. SwartHack`s 3DMark2001 SE score: 110561 marks with a GeForce GTX 980 Ti SwartHack`s 3DMark2001 SE score: 56078 marks with a GeForce GTX 970 According to the submission page they've been linked to the dog pile but they're not actually showing up there

I have a slightly different twist for the question. If running off-line/no connection and unable to get a "valid" in the SS but save the file and submit afterward could you post a link that shows a valid result. Would this still be acceptable? Many people can't/don't have internet connection when benching extreme.

Right HWBot has always had their own rules, why now is it Futuremark Rules for HOF. HOF means nothing here. Now it's only best HW wins everything?

Looks like there aren't any allowed optimizations for this benchmark. HWBOT 3DMark Time Spy Benchmark Validation Regulations Which is different from previous FM benchmarks, taken from FireStrike

HWBOT extreme makeover
Johan45 replied to Rauf's topic in HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions
I like the idea of limiting challenger DIV to one. Pick and stay with it. Shouldn't keep you from submitting to others but only score points for one. Personally I'm busy enough doing one division and still find it hard to bench what I "want" when I need the time to bench for the current competition. With the TC, CC and Challenger that's year round benching for competitions already. -
Why there is a fee in the Wild Card contest
Johan45 replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I think it really is that simple, I went to the WT in montreal last year and yes it cost me more than the 50euro entry fee that is charged for this on-line event. I'm not bitter about it though and am grateful for an opportunity to compete again this year since I was unable to attend the NA stop do to health reasons. I can't tell if you think they should be charging more or not at all but either way 1000 euro wouldn't go far covering accommodation in Berlin of that I'm pretty certain. It comes down to choices and opportunities. You chose to drive 1000km or fly 20,000km to attend and seems to me you're pretty lucky to have the money and time to do so but it was still your choice. Just as it is now your choice whether or not to pony up another 50euro for a third chance. -
Why there is a fee in the Wild Card contest
Johan45 replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Also there was an entry fee for the World tour stops, no? Wouldn't be fair to the participants to give up a "free" spot. -
Not to keep arguing and I know there were a few errors in the original e-mail that was sent out. When I set this up at OCF in the bench section to try and get things organized I copy and pasted the original e-mail. From this there was no indication that only "some" HD7870s were allowed, tahiti OK, pitcairn bad. You would assume all HD7000 series were eligible.
-
Alright, the problem is I don't have one.
-
Just curious as to why? It's still a HD7000 and by no means a great card.
-
Does the HD7870 Pitcairn qualify ad a HD7000 series for stage 5 FireStrike Extreme ? It will not accept my submission. Johan45`s 3DMark - Fire Strike Extreme score: 3471 marks with a Radeon HD 7870 (Pitcairn Core)

SC2 Stage5 won't accept my submission says wrong vid card
Johan45 replied to Johan45's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Could that be the same reason my 7870 Pitcairn wasn't accepted for the SC1 stage5. Initially the stage said HD7000 but now that card is not in the list? -

SC2 Stage5 won't accept my submission says wrong vid card
Johan45 replied to Johan45's topic in HWBOT Competitions
It's weird though that ONC has submissions with 6970 and 6950 with unlocked shaders, so it seemed to take their subs just fine. Could it be something else that's the issue? -
