yes. was ambient temps i subbed as chilled cos it was below 20c which is consdiered normal ambient temps. its not like i was outside in canada or russia at -40c. was only -1 or -2c

idk i want to see what those 1680's can do i think a 4960x on ln2 would beat it because it will clock higher cos it has less cores. my 1650 and 3930k will put up a decent fight too.

You could say same thing about whole of life. In 1000-2000 years nobody will know anyone here ever existed they will all be eaten by aliens. Spend or gain monies on what you enjoy and tis all good. OC isn't all about being 1st and records either. It's just about having fun. I have spent many monies and haven't really got as far as I could have done if I had selected the best £/points ratio. But 4 way sli and cf is fun and it gets me 2hw points. would rather have 2hw points from 4 way than sitting running xtu on an i3 for dayz to get 166 glowballs

It you sold 1/2 your slow dom plats you could afford a 3rd system to complete in stage 5 with get a b350 prime and ryzen 1700

5960x and ryzen 7 1700, 1700x and 1800x are well under £500. Cheapest 10 core even used 6950x is over £800 and 7900x, is £900. At this price point you get more into 1920x and 1950x which are great for vantage and can max out the core limit in physics tests.

anyone in a noob league can gain enough experience in a good team to run ln2 within a week of starting oc and buy a pot............. same with phase. its no harder to use a phase than a custom water loop. one of the guys in my team was running ln2 before he even start subbing to hwbot on his own . its a new to hwbot leagues/competitions, not new to oc not new to pc building. Man up and get your own pot

I'm sure there are people with sr2, srx, d8 ws etc gathering dust somewhere Maybe have stage 1: Lga771 xeon Stage 2 Lga 1366 xeon Stage 3 Lga 2011 xeon Stage 4 Lga2011-3 xeon Have both single and dual socket config. Then titans: Stage 1: Kepler titans Stage 2: Maxwell titans Stage 3: Pascal titans Tbh titan are only like 'ultra' version of cards in the past and other than the name have no real difference to gaming class cards. It's not like a p100 with 5200 cores and hbm 2 that cost £10k a piece. Maybe even allow mainstream socket Xeons as well. Would be great

I think it's simple. If you need 3 score they do score 1+2+3 then divide by 3. If you only sub 1 or 2 scores it still gets divided by 3 so you loose out by getting 1 guy with a massive score vs 3 OK scores.

I let people use my b die at events for 2d with there cpu because it's really fast the IMC on their cpus will be different and board so they may not run same settings anyway.

Same applies to firestrike or vantage. One person could buy a 7960x and just let people put there gpus through it. I don't see a problem as it allows a poorer team to group buy a very expensive cpu to use for 3d and pass around vs everyone in team buying a 7960x which most can't afford.
