All rankings have been recalculated by yesterday morning. I did some spot checks and did not find any which look odd. Does anyone else find any?

Seems correct to me. Rank 1 to 5 get bonus points.

I think so. The logic to find the top score against which a submission is compared was not always correct. As points are relative to top score, some where incorrect.

I see, it is indeed because of #1 to 5 is marked "no pts no rank". I'm implementing a fix.

Yeah Steward was part of the Taiwanese company (HWBOT LLC), which no longer runs hwbot. It's sad, but there were insufficient funds to keep it going like it was.

Is there a big difference with conventional water cooling? We can't make 50 different cooling categories for each exotic cooling method.

All submissions which the algorithm touches are displayed and ranked correctly, but there are almost 900.000 rankings to recalculate. It will take a long time before all rankings are corrected.

I wonder whether this is because the #1 spot is just soo low in absolute score. HWBOT X265 took about an hour or so, but the time to recalc a ranking is related to how many submissions are linked to that ranking, and whether all points are enabled. There are 884523 rankings on hwbot (unique app / hardware combinations). 770467 if you disregard the rankings which do not award points. This is not something that can be recalculated overnight. On the test server it took 48h if i'm not mistaken, but there is no load on that server.

You can link submissions which are not ranked properly in the forums, but please do not report them. Reporting is for faulty submissions, not engine bugs.

Yes I'm sure but the suggestion I made did not make sense. If you would mark an application as single threaded, there is just one global ranking, and it would effectively be the same as the benchmark/worldrecord ranking. So, it would work technically but stupid suggestion nonetheless.

I don't understand. Don't give global points for 3x / 4x GPU rankings for 3D06, but do for 1x / 2x? We don't have that functionality. I can mark 06 as "single threaded" which would mean all amount of cards would be mixed in 1 ranking.

The score corrects itself if you hit recalc. So any bug that caused this issue is gone. Once no more oddities after spotted (after manual recalc is triggered) I shall schedule a full recalc again

For 3D rankings, the best score with your GPU counts, for 2D rankings, the CPU, for memory, only your memory stick, etc. CPU+GPU combinations are irrelevant.

That's not a bug. For each of these four submissions you have a better submission with the same hardware. Only your best submission is ranked/awarded points, otherwise you could spam the rankings. You can see the better submissions by clicking the "not the best submission link".

There is a queue with submissions to calculate point/ranks, and it gets cleared at server reboot/patch installation. There have been a lot of patch installations, daily, so some submissions never got a rank. When everything stabilizes I should force a recalc for all submission made in march.

I've checked and most seem ok. If a submission did not receive a rank/score, there is a "recalculate ranking" link on the right of the submission info page. Click it once, but don't spam the button.

Hi Ace123, A patch was installed on production earlier today. If you think a submissions did not receive rank or points, you can hit the "recalculate ranking" link at the right of your submissions. I've clicked the link for some of your submissions made in the past few days and they look fine now.

I've disabled the functionality that users can trigger a whole recalc for all their submissions. People where spamming the button and normal submissions did not get ranked. I also temporarely disabled team power points, they can cause deadlocks. I've checked all the scores above, and they all have rank & points now.
