  1. I was wondering if it was an ok run or not.. I have one more that's a bit faster  Maybe I should try another pair of CPU's in this beast.....
  2. Ideally if anyone has one, complete with box and accessories (back plate etc) but bare board would do.. Not sure what CPU's might be the best to go for (points to cost ratio!!) but I'd be willing to consider a few dual/tri/quads or even a 8 core if one was a proven overclocker (aiming to get that 8Ghz achievement!!) Please let me know
  3. Hi there, I was just wondering if the Kingpin F1 extreme DARK LN2 cpu pot had gone?
  4. Thanks Lewis This CPU really did suck but hopefully I can try and get a bit better with the next one
  5. Many thanks guys, I hope the score is right!! I've had a few faster results but they can wait if needed!! I only pressed the go button!!
  6. I was just wondering if someone could help me as I'm struggling to get a decent HD score in PC 05 in XP.. I'm on AMD 939 system and I'm getting hard drive scores of 0.004Mb/sec with a single SSD.. I'm trying to understand the problem but I have no idea!! Could someone please advise what might be causing me this massive headache?? Windows 7 isn't cutting it in a way as it's a bit slower and trying to make up a few points is a killer!
  7. We can't see the voltages needed for the XTU run. That might help to sell the chip.
  8. Sorry guys, didn't think, just went for it  Sooooo many options!!
  9. I'm after either, it's got to be complete and it needs to be as good a condition as possible as I'm hoping to put it in a case build for a review site.. If anyone has one please let me know Been keeping an eye on the prices on Ebay and I've seen them selling for £110 to around £230 for the Black Edition on ebay.. I'd be interested in one if you have one so please drop me a line

Many thanks Doug I noticed about the motherboard after I looked at the pics a bit more!! I'm trying to find a Rampage Extreme 4 for a new build I'm doing for a review site The 4960X is getting another board to go in for the colour scheme

I was just going to ask about the Evbot... Is it still available?? I think I might be out of luck there.....
  12. I'll message suzuki and see if I can get some good results I'm not sure that the ram speeds will help for 24/7 use but I don't think that I'd be using them like that If you have any pointers for getting the best out of the ram kits, I'd be most grateful
  13. I was afraid of that..... lol Best make sure I have some spare fans I think to make sure I can keep it cool if that's the way to go.... Wonder how far it'll go with the stock timings and the same volts.....
  14. With what volts did you manage it with?? Mate I've been trying to avoid paying out loads and even stopped myself buying a few Black Editions for my 4960X!! lol Toying with the new AMD GPUs...
  15. Is that so you can abuse my hardware again mate??
  16. Yeah but you know my type of benching lol I don't get the chance as it is!! But would it be worth trying to get a cheaper kit for messing around on or just grab some new 2400Mhz? I understand that there are different chips on the ram and that ram speeds mean little when overclocking is involved.. I remember having some Crucial Ballistix DDR2 that was rated for 533Mhz but that would run at 1200Mhz!!
  17. I've been looking at a kit that's a 2800Mhz kit for a little under £100 instead of £150 new but I was wondering if this was a good buy. Failing that I would just buy a kit or two of the 2400Mhz that I already have and just get the best from them.. What would you suggest mate?
  18. How come it's got so expensive? I doubt I'd even get close to getting near to some of the top 100 scores left alone top 10, so what would do for me?
  19. Are these kits easy to find or will I have no chance??
  20. I'm looking for some good ram for my Z97 OCF board, I've been looking at the higher speed kits from Gskill as I've had 6 kits of theirs already and not a problem so far.. Anything above 2400Mhz would be great, I'm only a light overclocker when it comes to HWBot benching but looking around the PSC kits are really asking high money which I don't want to waste as I won't be pushing the limits like most of you guys here!! If anyone has anything of interest please drop me a line! Around £100 max posted is all I'm willing to go for, for an 8Gb kit (2 x 4Gb sticks) Been offered some 2800Mhz stuff for the same money... Cheers!!
  21. At the moment in the other Asus Rampage I have, I've got 4 x 2Gb of some Corsair Dominators 2000Mhz sticks.. I can't get them anywhere near their rated speeds but I gathered that to be because of the 4 slots being used altogether. It would just be for daily use, so what sort of ram would be fine to pop in there? I am after some sort of benching ram, but I think I've decided on using my TridentX stuff for that as I'll never be in the top 10 or top 50 so I'm not going to spend lots of money on it
