  1. The update feature does pretty much the same yes. Works well here!
  2. I thought he said he couldn't make it, but that's all cleared up now. Gunslinger qualifies as fourth
  3. Can you try submitting through the competition page? http://hwbot.org/submit/competition_stage/1431_/ There should be an error message to say what's wrong.
  4. As for the MOA Grand Final tickets, the rules are very clear. After disqualifying Gunslingers' 3DMark03 (lack of verification link), the qualified overclockers are: Rbuass from Brazil Mikecdm for USA (Western Division) Nacho_arroyo for Argentina Gunslinger for USA (Eastern Division) I think we can take the feedback to next year's MOA. Maybe regional qualifiers make less sense now that everything's online anyway?
  5. Hm, okay. Not easy to debug, but I'll forward to the dev backlog!
  6. The Wprime result is now there; we have best team/personal too now but it seems there's a small bug with the table. Added that bug to the backlog.
  7. It seems okay now. Can you check again ?
  8. More information on why XTU doesn't work with older systems here: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=109368
  9. Yup, mainly (but not solely) engages US overclockers. Overview of the Intel XTU Integration Project by HWBOT - Page 9/15 is beginning of the numbers . In essence: simplicity, but mainly engages rookies and newbies. Not the hardcore overclockers.
  10. Bear in mind, the XTU effect. Language is an issue too, especially for non-English regions. Here's historical including and excluding XTU. Note: not registrations, but active users (data pulled from the result table).
  11. Well, there's AMD's own overdrive benchmark we could use. I think Winrar bandwidth should also be good for Bulldozer/Piledriver/Steamroller architecture.
  12. Overclockers in 2014 by region and country.
  13. Ah, good catch guys. I just fixed the contest . As for the benchmarks, I'm open for anything. Is there any particular benchmark the AMD Bulldozer/Pilldriver guys like? Maybe we can just add a new one for the Rookie Rumbles.
  14. Maybe we can change the benchmarks to make a Bulldozer or Piledriver more interesting?
  15. Okay guys, we saw the video and all is good. I cleaned up the thread a bit too. Of course we don't go by general population, but by OC population measured at HWBOT.
  16. Guys, stop throwing oil on fire. Either post about facts or don't post at all. There's no need for personal attacks.
  17. Updated opening post, two new leaders Focus: Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition 359.235 - l0ud_sil3nc3 - Pentium G3258 @ 5000.60 MHz - 1428.7 MHz \N - ASRock Z97 OC Formula Focus: Core i7 4790K 355.953 - SHIMIZU - Core i7 4790K @ 5000.59 MHz - \N MHz \N - ASRock Z97 OC Formula
  18. http://www.futuremark.com/support/systeminfo //edit: there was a already a message about SI on the competition stage page, but I've added the hyperlink to it now as well.
  19. The problem is that cpu frequency and superpi time don't scale linearly. For each increase of frequency, your time improves less. As an effect, you will see the best efficiency at lower frequency. Similar in principle to the law of diminishing returns. One solution would be to improve the efficiency formula to account for the diminishing returns.
