Working on the benchmark record timeline too. It's a little more complicated as there's quite a lot of false negatives and positive blocked results showing up in the chart. Also, since we don't have solid data from pre-May 22nd there's no data on that. Perhaps it's time to get the "history project" going again. Anyone up to do OC archeology and dig out all the ancient records?

Apoligies for the delay in updates. V5.8.0 and V5.9.0 have been closed but are not yet in production. Once it's in production, I will make another news post with the new features. Benchmark record timeline anyone? V5.10.0 finally has the mobile benching rankings included. It's going to be a hard nut to crack, but hopefuly you'll like it

Highest rated Intel XMP Certified Kit?

The other day I was looking for the highest rated Intel XMP certified memory kit, but couldn't quite find it. Anyone has an idea? Fyi, - XMP Ready = Memory kit has XMP profile, vendor has gone over the XMP checklist and self-certified the XMP as functional. - XMP Certified = Multiple samples of the XMP-ready Memory kit were sent over to Intel and was tested in their lab to check if the XMP works on all kits. There are a lot of XMP-ready kits, but the highest certified ones are around DDR3-2666 rating, I think

Hah, same response I had . I was made aware of the fact that the Core i7 3820 was part of the most high-end desktop platform and that Haswell is a replacement for the mainstream platform. Between the lines, it probably meant that all non-K sku CPUs built for a high-end X-chipset will have additional overclocking options compared those for a mainstream Z-chipset.

Overclocking has become just another product feature that Intel can charge for. Just like - hyperthreading - amount of cores - amount of cache - type of IGP - virtualisation - dram ratios And so on. There has been no confirmed (or leaked) product information regarding the correct configuration of the SKUs, just guesses, so we can only make assumptions here. But it seems fairly obvious that the non K-sku processors will not have the option to play with PEG:DMI (bclk gear ratio) settings.

Did we spot SF3D playing while he should actually be studying? Nice idea - looking forward to see how well it works!
