  1. Alright, I'll inform the authorities to start the "M.Beier In Town" safety campaign.
  2. TPE is the only one you can fly to from Europe and USA. TSA is the local airport (also connections to Japan and Korea, I think). From TPE to Taipei city is about 40 to 60 minute drive by taxi and costs about TWD $1000 (~ €25).
  3. Intel IDF in Beijing is held on April 10 and 11. There will be a lecture on overclocking featuring Mike Moen, Joakim Algstam and Hicookie. Here's a bit more information: I've seen some interesting footage from the last IDF San-Fran, let's hope the lecture will be spot on! Looking forward to it . Anyone else going? Might be cool to meet up!
  4. The new BIOS actually looks pretty slick
  5. Yes.
  6. Yeah, the forum join dates are not correct. I'll add that to the buglist too, but it's a very trivial bug (so not high on the list).
  7. I assume it allows you to clock higher than certain barriers? Probably the BIOS does the same mod, but software-wise or so. Maybe KP can shed some light on that.
  8. ... so that's a maybe for you?
  9. Yeah, just PM/mail me for now. The admin tools will be something for the next dev sprints (not so much work).
  10. It's on at The Tavern or On Tap, no problem ;-)
  11. Fixed the opening post (spelling). I'll sticky this one too
  12. Added to backlog, thanks for the report!
  13. If needed, just ship stuff to my place and I'll take care of it. Just make sure you do priority shipping so it arrives in Taipei on time .
  14. /Scumbug Steve
  15. The latest one should work. Why not use PSCheck?
  16. I mean, you can request password recovery now?
  17. - Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan (reference) xtreme oc BIOS: http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads/VGABIOS/GK110XOC.rom (300% power limit)
  18. Okay, here is the BIOS. It's the same like every other extreme overclocker is using but can't share. Basically: - version 80.10.2C.00.00 = engineering bios - version 80.10.2C.00.02 = retail bios With this bios you will have power limit raised to +300%, also for air cooling. Beware ... this is an engineering BIOS for a reason! Link: http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads/VGABIOS/GK110XOC.rom
  19. There is a BIOS (can't post yet), but I'm not sure how necessary it is if you have all these mods too. Ask Vince or Andre ... they'll know .
  20. Hey all, I recently got some interesting files in my mailbox. It was the Nvidia GTX Titan modification guide. I've taken the information from the guide and added the modification notes to a real picture (by TechpowerUp) so everyone can enjoy modifying their GTX Titan graphics card! !! DISCLAIMER: ALL MODIFICATIONS ARE ON YOU RISK. THE INFORMATION IS GIVEN AS IS, NEITHER HWBOT NOR MYSELF WILL HOLD ANY RESPONSIBILITY IN CASE THINGS GO WRONG. IF YOU'RE UNSURE ABOUT THE MODIFICATIONS, DON'T DO THEM. THIS IS THE GUIDE FROM NVIDIA MODIFIED FOR YOU TO USE. !! Also, please be aware that the reference VRM design by Nvidia is really weak once you start overclocking. As Rbuass mentioned earlier, his card died at a mere 1.46V Vgpu! If you want to go extreme, you should look into your own zombie vrm. These are the modifications that are on the pictures: GPU (NVVDD) Voltage Measurement GPU (NVVDD) OverCurrent Override GPU (NVVDD) OverVoltage GPU (NVVDD) Coldslow / shutdown GPU Core Clock Range Shift Up Memory (FBVDD/Q) Voltage Measurement Memory (FBVDD/Q) OverVoltage PLL Voltage Measurement Front and back pics (click for high-res version):
