When the Apprentice League was created, team pages weren't updated to include those moved to the Apprentice league in the breakdown of a Team's members. Can we get this fixed?

I use IKEA Alex cabinets, the smaller ones designed for use with desks. I eventually plan on picking up some of the hard plastic trays to store my CPUs, and build some sort of stackable system to have multiple motherboards in the lower drawers:

Not to mention all of the first Season....

Seems rather counter productive to allow the repacked version (the 3xx line) of it but not allow the one that performs the exact same but has a slightly different name to it.

There's no mention of X79/X99 processors (4820k, 4960X, 5960X, etc), is it only four core processors allowed this round, or are those added into the mix of "i7"? Additionally, there's no mention of the 290/290X on the AMD side of things, will they still be allowed? What about the Fury Nano?

HWBOT Announces Contest Rules for World Series at LanETS Canada
WhiteWulfe replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT World Tour
Additionally, the South Africa stop didn't have this restriction, so it seems odd to suddenly throw in a "no b-die" restriction in a market that's had bdie for several months readily available, especially for an event with "world series" in it's title and therefore one would assume the rules would remain the same across each stop in order to keep things "even and fair" between every stop. -
HWBOT Announces Contest Rules for World Series at LanETS Canada

Also, with how it's worded..... For semi-finals you MUST use an Asus board? Additionally, what if you only have Z87/Z97 gear, are you suddenly no longer allowed to even enter? -
Might want to update the pictures, as you're missing the little slip of paper in the pictures showing your username and date on it, which is something they can be strict about as it's the second rule mentioned in the marketplace rules

Yeah. Knowing me, I'd pick up one as it travels light and just seems to make sense. It isn't like I bother to use more than one power supply right now anyways, given my focus on 2D Looks like I might have "no choice" but to go with that idea I've been discussing with you for the 24/7 setup in my living room, although when I'm done with it it won't be white anymore (because black and orange are just so much sexier to me )

Some of it is guessing based off of the pictures posted to their Facebook. ^Shows details of how the PSU mounts, looks like it can be either side ^Shows how the hard drives mount, and that there's two slots ^Shows the mounting holes ^Parts storage is a rather unique idea though ^Makes it look like a dual PSU set up isn't going to be all that easy Once again, just guesses based upon what can be seen in currently released photographs.

Looks nice for travelling, but a few concerns/questions do come up... - How well is the power supply going to breathe with what looks like a rather small gap under it? - This only seems to fit ATX sized motherboards. Where is the mATX and mITX support? - Will there be other colours available? - What material is used for the construction other than "metal"? - 3D guys will want to know if it's possible to fit two 1200+ watt power supplies in there - Why is there only support for two drives? - Will there be (for lack of better words) an add-on to support watercooling? For a setup where you're travelling light (say, perhaps, taking gear with you on the plane) I can definitely see a lot of promise in this build, but... Not everyone packs light, and a wide variety of people want to be able to set up their gear on a good looking station that's permanently set up in their space, and sometimes spousal acceptance factor comes heavily into play due to it being in the living room or such. Also, a few of the questions are because of the fact that this looks aimed primarily at subzero benchers, but we still have a LARGE group of benchers that use various ambient cooling methods.

While I love the creativity, my spouse would kill me for something like that in the living room o_O

Never ship a motherboard in a box that's too small

Dear gawds it's even worse on PC than it was looking at it on my phone o_O -
That sounds like a much better reason than "sorry, can't come because I'm spending all my spare cash on a desk"!

Challenger 2016 Div III Round 1 Discussion

Doesn't that kind of take away a good chunk of the skill factor not to mention (at least the somewhat more) level playing field that this division had last year? -
2016 Schedule on OC E-Sports?
WhiteWulfe replied to WhiteWulfe's topic in HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions
When will we be seeing the rules and hardware for each Division? There are only a few days to go before February starts. -
I like Bassplayer's alternate thread title. I'd be in the market for some too, but haven't saved up to buy the cooling pots yet.

2016 Schedule on OC E-Sports?
WhiteWulfe replied to WhiteWulfe's topic in HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions
Woohooo, it's starting to fill up. When do we get to see actual hardware requirements and/or a list of what's allowed? Only 13 days until it all starts Noticed one big thing though - if you click on the Challenger Division I (through VII) in the first column, you get an error 404 page instead of an overall description of what the particular series entails. -
Seasonic Partners with HWBOT for World Tour 2016
WhiteWulfe replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT World Tour
Either way, it's a free PSU to use at the event, which means two things: a) high quality power supply to use, and b) No having to ship a five or eight year old cable tentacle monster of an outdated PSU! -
It's definitely tempting, but I'm still looking at finances to see if it's possible to go or not. Work did make it easier by giving me a third week of vacation due to being with them for over four years though! 1. Who is going ? I'm currently at "tentative, but definitely want to go" 2. World Tour or freestyle only ? If I go, I'm gunning for world tour, even if all I can afford to bring is my LGA 775 stuff! 3. Who can assist for the OC Workshop ? I'm not the best of teachers, but I'd be willing to help out. 4. Transport mode ? Bringing Dewar ? I'd be flying over, and I don't own a dewar. 5. Are you ready to share place / room for sleeping ?

Seasonic Partners with HWBOT for World Tour 2016
WhiteWulfe replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT World Tour
... ..... .......Man I really need to find a way to make sure I'll be at Montreal then. Do we get to keep them too? It totally had to be asked, but even the idea of not having to ship a power supply over to Montreal (or bring one on the plane and get weird looks from security) makes it rather tempting. ... ...Especially since we won't comment on the condition of the power supplies I'm currently using when benching!
