Titan Pascal is ruled out at stage rules - as far as I can see 2011-3 is not ruled out there, I will check with Asus if they want 2011-3 to participate or not, I think it would make sense because we wanted different systems for all stages to be useful

We cannot check hardware used at moderation atm... This makes things a bit hard for moderation and even harder for random results. The problem of this submission is not what you write, a screenshot is mandatory for the participation in the competition, and if you submit this screenshot under rig pictures instead of validation screenshot, you will not be able to particpate at the comp - normal submission for ranking worked as you can see at the linked result. We are also discussing verification rules atm, the way screenshot is made and added causes some problems for temperature limited comps, we have controversy about this Once again, no server hardware at all. The sentence about hardware having to be released at start of the competition refers to unreleased, new desktop stuff. You cannot use a 1080ti now for example even if you stole one at NV lab

Need help with Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 32gb
websmile replied to GMOOT's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
Best you normally will get is XMP, try this - if it works, you can try to find memory timings at the OC section and try 10-12-12 maybe, but you will have to change from ez mode at BIOS advanced mode, and this can be a lot of try and error if you tune Timings, vccsa and io and dram voltage by hand. If you are patient, you can succeed so, all is about learning first -
Massman - GeForce GTX 1060 - 6082 marks 3DMark - Time Spy

Looks good -
OK, what I overlooked but others saw... you have not taken the screenshot with the embedded screenshot tool of the benchmark, or at least you have no suzbmitted it as screenshot but as attachment like system picture. Because of this the submission does not mazch the competitions need for a valid screenshot and you can´t add it.

No1Spank - Radeon R9 390 @ 1060/1600MHz - 48038 marks 3DMark05

No1Spank, I would strongly advise you read the rules for 3dmark again, especially on verification needs for screenshot. Screenshot needs launch app with benchsettings, fps result tab and so on. -

Next time please watch what you dial in, it is 47k on result screenshot and not 49K like you posted - thx -
OK, for the 1155 stage it is indeed subfamilies, means i7,i5,i3 etc, eligible for use are sandy bridge and ivy bridge of both classes, each can only be used once to add to the result. Means you can use 3770K and 2600K, but when you add 2700K only one of these subs, 2600k or 2700k, will add to your result. Seems this was configured different from what was originally planned, might be more interesting though P.S. Checked all other stages now as well, no surprises anymore

The Official GALAX GOC 2016 Worldwide Qualifier support thread
websmile replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
As far as I am concerned with the competition, my job is finished. The result to be found now at eoc-sports is final result from my side. Sadly the last open topic ended in disqualification of one contestant, nontheless it was a great competitions at highest level. Congratulations again to all, the top 12 are eligible for the awesome trip to Wuhan, China, for the finals. All other participants with a full set of scores (I asked Galax again, you need legit scores at all 4 stages) will participate in the lucky draw Thanks for a very professional competition, first of all to Galax for great collaboration, their good support of the benchers at the contest, especially Mad Tse and GaryNg, and for making this contest happen, and to all participants for awesome results and good sportsmanship -
The Official GALAX GOC 2016 Worldwide Qualifier support thread

All results checked, the overall result is not final though. We are still investigating especially one result and have therefore suspended preliminarily a group of submissions by one user. Lots of greats results here, congratulations to all participants -
As said, we have similar observations at 290 and 390 amd cards lately and asked FM to check this out, like you said observation of framerates with tools and plausibility check is needed for this. We have a range of ~33 - ~37 at gt2 at the competition, and around 2500-2730 mems, this is simply not enough out of line for me to throw out results without check by FM, we have this option. In spite of 32m having no monitoring, it is somehow easier to see for me because variance by driverr version, settings like LOD and overall balance of cpu, dram and card frequencies is harder to dtermine in the end

Bad explanation by me - the raise of memory(Dram) boosted physics for stavros, but he lost on GPU score - when the tests are in line, both GT1 and GT2, on scaling with core and memory, we cannot say a run is bugged and delete it. This is what we currently invetigate on some AMD cards for firestrike where we see similar scaling. We also have runs at the competition which have lower core and sub 2600 mem and still beat your GT2 - are all of these runs bugged or are they a result of the balance that you have at system?
