  1. For some reason GTX 570 score for AU pulled. If the reason is using 1.0 admins need to get busy and pull the rest. It's going to get messy with most teams impacted......
  2. ahh its all part of the fun - but using hardware which is prone to dying on you doesn't help!
  3. Well done Vivi - awesome idea that you had on the cooling - fantastic result on stock card
  4. ahh fuck it - I give up. Obviously the MOA gods don't want me to attend this year - so I surender
  5. Thanks Mike - way to burn cash - lol THEBANIK - ohh there are a few others coming to the party I am sure
  6. Well you can add me to the dead titan list - so much for that plan!
  7. No issues at all tbh, so far impressed with the board - i just wish the CPU's didn't suck!
  8. Ouch sorry to hear guys, hopefully you have a score or two to post for your efforts though. Benching these cards on stock pwm is almost certain death - just a matter of when!!
  9. Gyro San - you look very lonely in this comp by yourself!! This weekend I finally have time to do some benching so I will come join you
  10. Lol - this gets better and better. Haswell sux ass, benching titans on air - lets have a low score challenge!!! The only world records I see coming are the number of dead cpus and gpus for shit scores....
  11. So far Haswell is definitely underwhelming (unless of course you own a good ES CPU) 3 retails now tested - cold bug on best cpu -110 (grrr) and the others -120 and -125 ish &^%$ overclocking potential - so unless you are looking for some to win the low clock superpi challenge or pure mem clocking - why the ^&%$ would you bother!!
  12. I agree. Mass man you deleted your original post, but can we assume that the above applies? Ie all the people that you had drawn that did have a legit score posted before May 15th will keep their prize? Not going to be impressed if you turn around now and say that I am not getting a board!
  13. Lol - why not! For my 50 cents worth.... No Titan 32m on Haswell 3dm01 on Haswell Firestrike With current results on Haswell maybe fixed cpu clock limit for 3dm01 and 32m. Means more focus on skills than lottery
  14. LN2 guy pissed again!! If that didn't cost you cash it would be funny - lol
  15. Translated in plain English - I hear what you are saying but f%*k you and the 78% of the horses you rode in on - LOL PJ, we dont know each other personally, so this isnt meant to be a personal attack. I think it is great that you (and your team) give so much time and energy to keep HWBOT moving forward. I definitely admire and respect what you have done. The site brings out the competitive nature in so many people at different levels, chasing a multitude of results to be called "number one" and this is what we all love. You say that this is a community - but I dont understand how you can say that with the path we are on (which is your way or the highway). Look at the people that are voting against this, these are some of the sites strongest contributors. Even if not everyone is speaking up that is for the idea, you would still have, more than 50% of your key followers saying they are not happy with this. This sort of "customer attitude" (or community / stakeholder attitude if you prefer) wouldnt last too long in the commercial world. If you take this type of stance in a business, you had better be sure that you are right - because generally there are only two outcomes that I have seen in life (and I am an old fart).... You will either be lucky and retain a level of business more or less similar to what you have today (new players less all the stakeholders that leave you) but may have an issue with the overall quality or standard of what you achieve. The other potential outcome is that you will crash and burn because the new people will never make up what has been lost in the process. Sorry man - I cant see how you think this is a step forward - but in the end it looks like its your call and we all live with the results.....after 3 rounds it may be difficult to go back.....
  16. Thank you for calling HWBOT - we value your feedback - please hold........
  17. I am confused - the feedback that is being given by many people that are highly ranked in the Pro league (the majority of the top10) is that they are not happy about the change, you ask for feedback then say it is going ahead anyway. In trying to generate more interest from newcomers it is only frustrating the guys that have been active anyway - not really sure how you think this helps?? I am all for a team cup comp where people can choose to participate - but why kill the other league? Does it really matter if it stays? I would really suggest getting the input of the community you are wanting to build before pulling the trigger on this......some of your longest working and most passionate members arent happy with the change.......
  18. [quote=Massman;228459 - meet up once or twice a quarter is fine Sure - only problem with this theory is that everyone in TeamAU is a minimum of 2000kms apart. We dont even have two people in the same city....One guy in Chch NZ, One guy in Syd, One guy Melb, One guy Adelaide, One guy Brisbane, One guy in Perth, One guy in Jakarta and me in Malaysia. Check out a map, when we want to get together and have fun and kick some ass it collectively (and personally costs) us signifcant time and ca$h.... If we are lucky we can do it two or three times a years as a subset of the team, and maybe once a year together. With the ability to competitively bench removed, we are only left with drinking and taking the piss out of Fester - surely there has to be more to life that this!!?? Honestly see the change as a disincentive........
