May 7, 201412 yr installed version of XTU you want to use! go to c:\programfilesx86\intel and copy folder "Extreme Tuning Utility" to desktop! unistall xtu and reboot! Install xtu 4.1 and reboot! Start xtu from folder allready copyed on desktop \Extreme Tuning Utility\Client\PerfTune.exe enjoy:D Edited May 7, 201412 yr by barbonenet
May 7, 201412 yr thanks to Delly for Tips: after normal install of xtu, check for update of it! need internet connection......or use my method:D you can save all version extracted of xtu on usb.....so next time, you only install xtu 4.1;)

May 10, 201412 yr Is it possible to run the V4.4 instead of the V4.1 with this method? It seems that the reported XTU version is V4.1 since it's running that service. So we can't use this method for running competitions with temperature limitations for example (as that's only available in V4.4).
