3DMark 99 Max also works under Vista , Copy dxgkrnl.sys from win/system32 to the directory of 3DM99 and run in compatibility mode (win98). Works without problems.

It doesn´t work so by me, it comes the Errorcode 0xc0000142. I dont find something, i look later.

good luck

and it doesn´t work as Admin and in no compatibility Mode...

with the 3DM99 fix i get the same error , but with the dxgkrnl.sys from Vista it runs!

Hi:)

Why can't i disable these tests? It tells me that i need to get the pro version.

Thanks.

...

because you need pro version? :P

I've seen you already got it, where from can i get pro version?:D

Yep, but where we can find a serial, there is no more 3DM99 or 2000 on FM store

EDIT : Many thx to 1Day and jmke :)

When will we see the first results with ln2?

I'll refill my dewar soon and make a run for some good scores. ;)

Great competition, sadly not single GPU though.

Yes well an extra GPU helps 01, but it's not a real problem I suppose.

Tweaked my 01 some more and took the lead, if I only could get 2000 to work. :/

Bring on the ln2 now so we can start having really fun. ;)

Hi:)

Guys i have a problem, tried yesterday to run these old benchmarks but... my set-up...

Rampage Extreme

E8500 under SS

Geforce 8800GTS (G92)

Cellshock 1800MHz D9GTR

I did a fresh windows install first, intalled drivers and push the CPU to 4.7GHz (VGA at defaults) to do some tests. Tried 3D Mark 99 Μax first, when i try to start the bench i get a blue screen (see link), http://www.hwbox.gr/attachments/intel-boards/4906d1288342809-classified-e762-phoenix-award-bios-settings-dscn1818.jpg , next

tried 3D Mark 2000 and 3D Mark 01 with the same results, then i revert everything to defaults but... blue screen again. Tried different version VGA drivers (169.21, 175.16 e.t.c.) but every time i try to run any of these old benches i get a blue screen no matter if the system it's clocked or not.

While the machine doesn't run any of these old benches, not even at default settings, at the same time it runs sucessfully 3DMark 03 and 3DMark 06 at 4.75GHz with the VGA clock it to 800/1200 (see link). http://www.hwbox.gr/attachments/intel-boards/4907d1288342862-classified-e762-phoenix-award-bios-settings-xoris-titlo.jpg

Has anyone seen something like this before? What can cause the problem and how to fix it?

Thanks a lot.:)

I'm surprised 99 and 00 don't scale much more with high-end cpu. Especially 2k!

2001, our most beloved benchmark, is the only one that scales so dramatically with C2D :D

Got the marks running. 99 is doing as it should, but 2000 gives me some headaches!

Just get around 25% of the score i should have.

With 99 disable v-sync did it for me. Dunno, i am just missing something....

this competition is a great idea =)

i like nostalgic stuff like that^^

but i´d like it more with nostalgic hardware ;)

whats about a competition for the lowest score with graphic cards with dx6.1 or higher? ^^

My smal test.... ;)
