Posted October 5, 20177 yr I thought something like this would have an Open competition but the only way i can compete with any of my PC's is stage 4 where they won't score anything there. I would have loved to challange my systems and that's what really upsets me with this competition. I CAN'T DO IT. Hopefully the event organizers will keep such systems in mind for next time. October 5, 20177 yr This is TEAM competition, so if you compete by yourself, find another competition
October 5, 20177 yr Members You have two pretty high end systems, and normally for competitions the idea is to be open to as many people as possible, and few people have the top end stuff, hence why it's aimed at more mid range hardware.
October 5, 20177 yr Sheppix is correct, it's a team based comp and that's the format in which it was conceived for. For comps based on the individual then you'd be in luck provided what you have satisfies the requirements of said comp.
October 5, 20177 yr I have about 20-30 PCs worth of hardware and I'm only eligible for 3 stages and only have any chance of being even vaguely competitive in one (although a dry ice frequency run on an fx-8120 using an M5A97 isn't something I'm that optimistic about). Can always enter scores that aren't competitive anyway just for a laugh.
October 5, 20177 yr It you sold 1/2 your slow dom plats you could afford a 3rd system to complete in stage 5 with get a b350 prime and ryzen 1700
