julienricqrt Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 (edited) If you need a board with a video output for this competition, don't buy a MSI B450M Mortar Max. That board can't do memory overclocking... I can't boot past 3200 MHz, and the factory bios couldn't even set memory frequency settings. Edit : I was being stupid apparently and could boot 4133 on my 3700x (didnt try higher), so I guess my 3000G memory controller is trash then. Edited March 23, 2020 by julienricqrt 1 Quote
Broken APEX49 Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 I'd like to participate in this play, but it's in b450 motherboard. I don't know where the way to install Windows7 and Windows7 can download itself. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 29, 2020 Crew Posted March 29, 2020 you can also participate with Win10.... There's a thread about Ryzen and Win7 here 1 Quote
Broken APEX49 Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 It's downloaded and installed by the site, oh, I tried, but I fail. Windows7 is quick at a super pie clearly, isn't it? 1 Quote
Broken APEX49 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Even if he exerts himself, a video driver can't install. Helping, me Quote
cbjaust Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Only standard vga in 7 is possible as far as I know. Quote
Broken APEX49 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Excuse me, it can't be understood well. In short it's while being big screen even if a chip set is installed Quote
Broken APEX49 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 The resolution of the picture, should I answer with change? Quote
maomone Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Hi! The Ram frequency is subject only to the cpu memory controller or the motherboard can help? I have a b450 gaming plus max for the 3000g Quote
cbjaust Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I reckon it's mostly down to the IMC, if you get a great IMC then the quality of the board would start to be more important. 2 Quote
maomone Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 so all you guys getting 1800, it works like that at normal temps? because my MB lose a lot of options when I insert the 3000G, and if I increase the frequency it leave my selected frequency in the options but boot with a more conservative speed of 1066. maomone Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Hi, my Cinebench submission has been blocked, I can't redo that soon, next time I will cover part of the cpuz tab Quote
