I, too, at one time took my own SS to the trash. And I still regret it. Very very much

We always have something to burn, it's our hobby: don't kill what's already starting to catch fire

So, calm down and think about future.

 

Pretty solid advice here, take a break, loosing hardware is never pleasant. We all share the pain... some don't care, others like us do...
