Christian Ney Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 I don't see any brand limitation, can you confirm that please Quote
Silverlight Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 To be part of the lucky draw, do you just need one submission with Geil branded memory or do all your submissions have to be with it? Quote
Massman Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 "To apply for the lucky draw, you must use GeIL memory and include the SPD CPU-Z tab in your screenshot ! " Quote
SSA OC TEAM Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 After a very hard year , the best thing is relax with memory OCing . Â Thanks the bot and GeIL for this nice contest . Quote
Mafio Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 nice contest no biatch here so i'm in only for stage 2 Quote
delly Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 nice contestno biatch here so i'm in only for stage 2 Â oh yes...very nice contest! Â ...the 31 July is far away...asd Quote
Mafio Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 nah, sandy really pissed me off, i don't think i will join stage 1 and 3. Quote
Vaykir Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 2nd place prices are kinda better LOL  yes, thats kinda weird  But i think CPU/mainboard will limit the ram contest because it will reach the max BLCK soon. ram can go much more higher while cpu/mainboard is already exhausted.  btw, can anybody upload any verification files @ http://valid.canardpc.com/ ?? Quote
delly Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 But i think CPU/mainboard will limit the ram contest because it will reach the max BLCK soon. ram can go much more higher while cpu/mainboard is already exhausted. Â exactly, own thus Quote
Vaykir Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Do we need to upload a verification screenshot (incl. competition background, cpu-z etc) für stage 1, or will it be enough to show the verification link from cpu-z page (which seems to be broken at the moment)? Quote
delly Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) verification link from cpu-z page (which seems to be broken at the moment)? Â it tries to save validation file with CPU-Z 1.57... Edited July 5, 2011 by delly Quote
Massman Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Screenshot with background. Just made sure the engine will give an error if there's no verification screenshot added. Quote
Vaykir Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) it tries to save validation file with CPU-Z 1.57... Â hmm... i can't submit my score, neither with any of the cpuz versions (1.56, 1.57 and 1.58). and i got some really nice results yesterday that suxx! Â Â Screenshot with background. Just made sure the engine will give an error if there's no verification screenshot added. Â then how was is possible for Javier to submis this one? http://hwbot.org/submission/2186425_ Â i cannot see a screenshot there oO Â Â edit: hail to the king. uploading on valid.canardpc.com works again *puh* Edited July 5, 2011 by Vaykir Quote
Vaykir Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 got new ram beautiful hypers arrived. hrhr  happy benching @ all Quote
Vaykir Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 hey guys, i have another question: Â how can i submit twice in a stage. i have ddr3 ram from 2 different vendors: corsair and geil but the geil ram is far away from being dangerous for the corsair memory. so i will bench with the dominators for best scores and only want to submit one geil-score for apply the lucky draw. Â (whoa.. confusing english ) Quote
Hondacity Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 i think you can submit as many as the cores in the sky Quote
Massman Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Just submit ... twice? Â We can see from the submission details what scores are done with GeIL memory, even if you score isn't your best (and thus not in the ranking). Quote
Vaykir Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Thanks and done.... (but this Memory wasnt really good for OC ) Quote
octacore Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 (edited) For the lucky draw all benchamarks(Stages) have to be with geil memory or is it enough just to only one stage with Geil memory? Edited July 17, 2011 by octacore Quote
