Crew Turrican Posted February 1, 2010 Crew Share Posted February 1, 2010 Newbie ask'highest reference clock' : is this total cpu clock or only HTT clock ? it's htt clock or fsb on other plattforms look here http://hwbot.org/rankings/benchmark/reference_clock/info
placid
ic ic, thx Turrican. In my country competition like this has been done 1 year ago, and I got only 425 MHz with AMD platform . Now let's try with 754 Socket, I still have an LP NF3-250GB n Sempy 2500+. Yeeeah at least hit 350MHz HTT clock
s0lid
Neat! I just happen to have one 3000+ and Asus K8N-E combo here, tho the board doesn't post yet. vDDR doesn't seem to give anykinda out put.
mAlkAv!An
Anyone knows which chipset clocks best, nF3, nF4 or via K8T ? Edited February 1, 2010 by mAlkAv!An
Massman
No idea. I suppose NF4 would be better, but some NF3 went really crazy.
Crew Turrican Posted February 1, 2010 Crew Share Posted February 1, 2010 yeah, nf3/4 are for sure the best i think.

knopflerbruce
I wonder if my semi-dead 250gb can do some damage here... I have two more in Germany that should work better.
Crew Turrican Posted February 1, 2010 Crew Share Posted February 1, 2010 hehe, competing with knut should be fun.
GreenKiller
Have a Sempron 3000+ and a Biostar GF6100 anywhere lying around. Lets see if i can get anything outta it...
knopflerbruce
Not sure I'll win this, though... HTT clocking isn't anything I've done much before. I saw 410 on that board on a Clawhammer, before some chip burned. The funny thing is that it works at stock voltage, but 1.8v is not possible anymore - then it just shuts down:D
kikicoco1334
i have a 3000+ with out the ihs lol i monna do some damage with that i'll try do some damage lol

placid
Are all Sempron 754 socket come with locked multiplier? In my DFI, I set Sempron 2500+ multiplier 4 or 5 but in windows always 7. Is my board have bug with this ?
oDDiTy
If i remember correctly, processor must support cool'n'quiet technology to allow you to lower it's multiplier. Thus you should use sempron 3000+ or higher.
