K404
Hey bro! Fermi + XP is terrible for AM3, you need to use W7

Massman
Apply same tweak like you do for 01 + fermi and you will have good AM3 scores in XP.

K404
Apply same tweak like you do for 01 + fermi and you will have good AM3 scores in XP. Poor performance in XP is down to D3D?

Massman
Poor performance in XP is down to D3D? No. Cmon just tell people to use PRE_D3D9_COMP_BIT Hehe ... I thought that was super-obvious
K404
No. Hehe ... I thought that was super-obvious So...... changing a D3D setting fixes AM3, but the fix isn't related to D3D?
Massman
It's the same Nvidia Inspector tweak for Fermi+01 that also fixes Aquamark3 XP performance The bit is called 'PRE_D3D9_COMP_BIT'
K404
You missed my question? Me: "Poor performance in XP is down to D3D?" You: "No." ....but.....it IS down to D3D by the looks of things. I guess it's a mute point. Benchmark fix = benchmark fix
Massman
I thought you were talking about the D3D Overrider tool, my bad!
Guest Ximi
Hello , At XP SO , activate D3DOverride and nvidia inspector bit at Aquamark is the best result. See here its the best result than Win 7 : This setting is valid for 3D03 , 3D05 ? The result high exponentially.
