I.nfraR.ed Posted October 18, 2012 Author Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) Wish my SD that did 3.3GHz on water was still alive. Don't know why you can't run CL1.5, I can do it with all BH5/BH-6/UTT I have. Edited October 18, 2012 by I.nfraR.ed Quote

TerraRaptor Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) My winbond also can do CL1.5 but has a limit of 3 for Trcd starting from 230mhz. BTW, Mr.Scott, try setting CL in A64tweaker - the right CL to choose for CL1.5 is *1.0 in A64tweaker for me. My system also fails to boot with CL1.5 set in bios - i think however it is the limitation of A8N. Edited October 18, 2012 by TerraRaptor Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted October 18, 2012 Author Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) I can always boot from bios. Performance-wise it's just a tad faster and you get a slight hit in max stable mem freq - around 5MHz or maybe even less. IIRC, my Mushkin Level II does 275 CL1.5 vs 280 CL2. Mafio Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 CAS 1.5 doesn't seems to gave me any performance improvement over CAS 2 Quote
