Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Hey fellows, I can't really understand, what my problems are!!! Please help me, raising my points! Here are some submissions from me in these two benchmarks: 3d03: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2251848_dancop_3dmark03_radeon_hd_7970_152941_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2341562_dancop_3dmark03_2x_radeon_hd_5770_89232_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2339718_dancop_3dmark03_radeon_hd_5770_49029_marks 3d05: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2335375_dancop_3dmark05_radeon_hd_7970_48074_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2339699_dancop_3dmark05_radeon_hd_5770_32865_marks Here are some comparable submissions: 3d03: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2178776_joemehnert_3dmark03_radeon_hd_5770_61545_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/937861_tiborrr_3dmark03_radeon_hd_5770_61586_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2339388_zeropluszero_3dmark03_radeon_hd_5770_62018_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2336345_joshua7_3dmark03_2x_radeon_hd_5770_109345_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2287576_beepbeep2_3dmark03_2x_radeon_hd_5770_110153_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2270279_joe_cool_3dmark03_radeon_hd_7970_178692_marks 3d05: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2327922_mcnico63_3dmark05_radeon_hd_7970_49541_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2145085_tobi1978_3dmark05_radeon_hd_5770_34848_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2139669_teemto_3dmark05_radeon_hd_5770_34820_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2135570_ole_cm87_3dmark05_radeon_hd_5770_34780_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2177227_psycofreud_3dmark05_radeon_hd_5770_34760_marks I've tested nearly everything, but nothing helps! LOD till 40, HT disabled and so on!!! Please guys, help me! I don't really know, what else is to be done to get right results! In 3d06, vantage, 3d11 and unigine, my system works great, which means it should be efficient - so what should be my problem? Thanks in advance and best regards Daniel Edited January 14, 2013 by Dancop Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 11, 2013 Crew Posted January 11, 2013 Typical ATI style, each benchmark it's own drivers/OS. FYI higher LOD is not always better. Some benchmarks prefer higher PCI-E, some need more CPU speed to scale, some benchmarks prefer reboots iso of reruns. ... All some of the reasons why I don't do a lot of ATI stuff, while others just adore the tweaking aspect. Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Tested all drivers right now! What is the trick? D3doverrider? Quote
rsnubje Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 You could also use that, yes. I figured that LOD 5 worked best for ATI with the 5xxx series, so no need to go ridiculously high. Haven't tested LOD on 7xxx. Also try driver 10.12 to begin with, with the HD 5770. There might be a better driver, but for me this one prove itself already. What are you using to adjust LOD? Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Soooo... Here two results: ontheair`s 3DMark05 score: 35669 marks with a Radeon HD 5770 ontheair`s 3DMark03 score: 61241 marks with a Radeon HD 5770 I had the same freqs except the cpu...mine was running 5GHz In 05 34388 In 03 47187 Same OS and same driver - now it's your turn! Quote
Farjam Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 something is related to the System efficiency(for example Lighter windows), some difference about tweaks and .... but that two resault are not Good results and always i use xp but ---> your windows is windows 7 for some cards windows 7 sucks and my Driver Version is 9.12 and your Driver is 12.11 Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 The results above are made with modded xp and same driver! Quote
Farjam Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 you talked about this result? yes? http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2339718_dancop_3dmark03_radeon_hd_5770_49029_marks your gpuz shows driver is 12.11 or mybe modded windows cause of bad result Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Nope...i meant another one...05 seems to be cleared http://hwbot.org/submission/2343969_dancop_3dmark05_radeon_hd_5770_35691_marks Quote
Farjam Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 you mean your score with 300MHz higher cpu clocks is near to my score? yes my memories that worked @ 2800mhz (normally i use 2666 and 2800)and your's @ 2400 maybe this 400mhz higher memory clocks covers the weakness of my cpu Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Dancop`s 3DMark05 score: 36172 marks with a Radeon HD 5770 Dancop`s 3DMark05 score: 47216 marks with a Radeon HD 5770 :D:D But what do I do wrong in 03?????????? Quote
Farjam Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 probably you: 1. choose wrong Lod(high or low) and 2. "3dmark05 is more lighter test than 03 for graphic cards i think" . your card passed 05 with good efficiency with that clocks, but that clocks maybe was too high for 3Dmark03 (both core clock and memclock)and make your card unstable during the 03 and make a bad result this is all i know and maybe wrong Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Tested also with stock clocks! No change! Normally I must get 60000+, but I only get 48000! Quote
cnzdrn Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 For 03 single card try win7, overrider no ht on cpu. Quote
Dancop Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Ok...tomorrow i will do so! Hopefully it helps! Quote
cnzdrn Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 All settings to performance and disable AI. Overrider give me a nice boost on gt1. Try with and whithout to see if it works. Lod doesn't give me a better score, it's only help for gpu clock. Sorry for my bad english Quote
Dancop Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 I'm talking about 12000 points which are missing! Quote
cnzdrn Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Based on your screen you use wrong driver on win7. Try the right driver. Quote
Dancop Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Problem Solved!!! Raise Your Bclk And 3dm03 Flies!!! Quote
Massman Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 BCLK has no effect on performance - it's just a reference clock, not data bus. So, the issue must be something else but somehow elevating the BCLK triggered it. Interesting! Quote
Dancop Posted January 14, 2013 Author Posted January 14, 2013 Yeah! I dont really know what the problem has been, but changing the BCLK was the solution Quote
