Thanks again thor. Quote
zabit Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Hello Thor941 .., which is the problem of this score??? http://hwbot.org/community/submission/884799_zabit_pifast_pentium_2_celeron_500mhz_s370_318.57_sec http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1026906_zabit_pifast_pentium_3_e_1.0ghz_100mhz_fsb_152.7_sec Quote
Crew Turrican Posted August 25, 2010 Crew Posted August 25, 2010 the problem is "Error in Computation" on these pifast runs. Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted August 25, 2010 Crew Posted August 25, 2010 Despite the result being shown? Didn't see this mentioned in the rules Quote
Crew Turrican Posted August 25, 2010 Crew Posted August 25, 2010 submiting an "error in computation" result would be the same as submitting a "not exact in round" result in super pi. Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted August 25, 2010 Crew Posted August 25, 2010 Don't agree. The exact in round error appears during the loops => making impossible to show the overall result, so it can't be published (like N/A in PCMark05 when you fail a subtest). But here the situation is different, there is an overall result. Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted August 25, 2010 Crew Posted August 25, 2010 Or, you can show a "not exact in round" after the final loop to show me I'm wrong Quote
Massman Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 "Error in computation" means that the benchmark didn't run sucessfully. No discussion Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted August 25, 2010 Crew Posted August 25, 2010 Please, add this stuff to rules That's the only thing I always ask for - the judgement should correspond to the judgement list which are the Rules Quote
zabit Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 the problem is "Error in Computation" on these pifast runs. Lilireviews.com Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I found one of my results blocked. Weird! Because what I did was only use the method: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=130155&page=3 Check Hipro5 post with big red letters. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted August 27, 2010 Crew Posted August 27, 2010 Let's have a look at your scores : 980X @ 4292MHz with 1x 5870 got 103k --> your entry in between LN2 cooled cards that run over 1400 core. Your validated score is 90K. This is a huge jump for just a reboot. Don't you think it is a bugged run ? with 1x 4890 got 91k--> you even beat Kingpins LN2 card on stock cooler with 1x 5670 got 5,5k --> score is still validated, yet it's another bugged run for sure. Ryba runs 1500 core and you 850 ? I really don't think the reboot trick is that good... sorry before complaining get the facts straight sir. Quote

Halo_003 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Thor thanks for alerting me about my submission in 06 with the wrong resolution. That's the native resolution of the laptop and I thought that was standard for 06. Cheers Quote
