They were all crappy )) 4770K L314B511 1964 4500 MHz 1,21V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4770K L314B511 2101 5000MHz 1.38V SuperPi 32m passed 2c/2t 4500 1.249V LinX 4770K L314B511 1788 4500 MHz 1,17V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4770K L314B511 1491 4500 MHz 1,17V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4770K L314B511 3223 4500 MHz 1,19V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4670K L310B440 2491 Malay 4500 SuperPi 32m 1.2V 4900 didn't boot 1,35V So at this moment I've tested 22 CPUs and just one could boot WinXP at 5000MHz on water Quote

I thinks it's quite a lot easier to boot 2c/2t like most of us bin cpus. Quote

For 3770K they were: 5000MHz and 1.3V boot windows (doesn't matter how many cores and threads I used), if cpu couldn't do this I rejected it. Now I add 4500MHz test and LinX test for best of the crap )) But all CPUs will be rejected if they won't be able to boot Windows at 5000MHz and 1.3V. So if I wrote something like that : " I tested 22 CPU's and no one of them didn't but at 5000MHz" it would be better(didn't post batch, Vcore for 4500MHz and etc)? Quote

I wish you better luck on your next chips :-) I tested about 70-80 Sandy and no one couldn't run 5700 MHz But after that, when milestone of SB was ending I bought 2500K from user in my city which could 5900+ MHz. That man just bought one SB and had big luck )) Quote

My first 4770k (in heaven it rests lol, gotta find batch # sry). That needed 1.4v to just boot @4.5-4.6ghz. Then my 2nd one in my main PC would do 5ghz stable (Prime, PI & 3D stuff) needed the same 1.4v. Hopefully this new one of mine will do 5ghz at lower volts and hopefully get a little higher the 5ghz. Admittedly this won't be blasted with Sub Z stuff (for now). Hopefully my little bits of info might help the laymen like myself lol. Quote

L312B549 L312B549 #1 1.2+ volt for 4500 MHz Spi32M, no 5 GHz L312B549 #2 1.175 volt for 4500 MHz Spi32M, no 5 GHz L312B549 #3 1.11 volt for 4500 MHz Spi32M, 1.42 for 5 GHz. Was expecting more from the third, 1.11 v @ 4,5 GHz is the best one for me so far but it hits a voltage wall at around 4,9. Quote

Alex@ro Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 i do believe so,but you need to test it on cold.my best 4670K\s do wprime at 1.12 and 1.14 4.5 but they do 5 ghz @1.26 and 1.31,so this means a much nicer volt/mhz curve.Ofc cold could change some things.... Quote

Calathea Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Will do guys, today also this 4770k which was actually 1.435 vcore 5 GHz. Not as good as the 4670k at 4,5 Ghz though. New one here, L316B316 around 1.475 for 32m at 5 GHz, can do 4800 uncore with 1.39 vring. Will try on singlestage. Quote

And did anybody try to remove HS and change thermal grease? Will it help with LN2? I remember that many people tried to do it on Ivy and just der8auer had profit from this operation. But now for overclocking on air it helps very much. Quote
