K404 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I know it's early days, but i'm REALLY interested in seeing the differences between these boards in regard to MHz and efficiency Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 CL3P on the dfifferences between MPower and MPower Max in terms of features via text: Power phases, ln2 mode, bios... think UP5 compared to OC for Gigabyte. MPower is like the standard for the lineup... "military power" delivery and oc pretesting from factory. Quote
sin0822 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 so mpower max is like OC and Mpower is like ud5h? Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 so mpower max is like OC and Mpower is like ud5h? Just in the way that the MPower Max is the board that's actually build for subzero overclocking whereas the regular MPower just receives fancy power delivery components and Prime95 testing. The MPower Max has all the LN2 features. Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 ...and the XPower has the PCI-E lanes? Yup! It seems to have a few more buttons too. Quote
CL3P20 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I have some results on air using the Mpower Max and the Xpower, as well as some pics in my thread on OCN http://www.overclock.net/t/1396921/msi-z87-thread-xpower-mpower-max-bios-screens-and-info/0_40 Quote
