Mr.Scott Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) Was trying to give a heads up and not report it straight away, but the snotty response just threw that out the window. Edited October 2, 2013 by Mr.Scott Quote
yamahracer19 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) Okay...so tweaks that increase scores are not allowed? What about the 2D Transparent Window tweak? Or the Web Page Rendering tweak? Or what about drive switching? Are those not allowed too? All of them are allowed bro. BTW, don't jump to conclusions that my score is invalid when I used my friend's ramdisk while at a LAN party he was hosting. Edited October 2, 2013 by yamaharacer19 Quote
I.M.O.G. Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Read the rules for pcm05. XP start up is limited to 220. The other tests don't have artificial limits. You can debate if this is a fair rule, but no point arguing with other members who are trying to inform you... Contact staff to complain about their rules. Quote
I.M.O.G. Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 By the way, we usually run a copy or another app, to keep the xp startup under 220. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted October 2, 2013 Crew Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) Use Iometer man, test what works best for your setup and set a test time of xx secs. You can get close to the same XP startup all the time...I couldn' t achieve this with copying files or compressing files. This Iometer Tool is Mooseman approved (mista pcmark) and indeed it works fab to keep XP startup sub 220... Insert coin and resubmit ! Edited October 2, 2013 by Leeghoofd Quote
Moose83 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Yes iometer is the best to keep Startup under 220;) U can do easy 219.xx Quote
