  1. I agree. More HP is good for overclockers that bench many different hardware, and more slots for GP is needed because there are increasingly benchmarks listed. And considering that OCe have a year reset, 10 is enough. My suggestion: 20 Global points slots 35 Hardware points slots 10 OCe points
  2. Holy s**t! I didn`t saw the RAM latencys! Supertigh latencys at over 4100mhz!! This HOF DDR4 memory made G.skill eat dust, really amazing. Well done man!
  3. You're the voice of reason here XA, thanks a lot for exposing this to the XOC. I said something about this on another thread, but since i'm ust a newbie moch me was more easy to answer... Indeed, my opinion is the same i said before, new hw points should be put of freeze for sometime, like two months or more.
  4. If the Hwbot staff is keeping ES and other unfair methods just because they need the sponsors... them they are dummies imo, just because there is no competition on CPU industry anymore, Intel all the way in man! Nvidia the same thing, unless we start to think about subvendors competition, but that's another history...
  5. Hello, i want to change my nickname to Casanova.
  6. I already made a suggestion about this situation in another thread. Solution: create a delay of about two months to give league points to new hardware.
  7. Considering that hwbot league is a competition and users are targeted between elite, extreme, apprentice, enthusiast, novice and rookie, sounds really unfair that extremely fierce competitions that set many WR can be taken down by h20 with small amount of overclock on gpu. The solution: submissions made with very new hardware should not be given points for at least a month or two, simple because almost no overclocker can have access to it, and this kind of removes the "shine" of the competition. The highly disputed world record was taken by someone that made no effort to have that amount of bench points. Does it looks fair for someone here? I don't think so, unless you're a very selfish guy.
  8. The way i suggested the oc league calculation points is to ensure the 3D a fair recognition, because everyone here knows that if we keep giving same points weight to 2d and 3d then MANY guys from Elite and Extreme league will give up from Hwbot and look to something else away from here (sorry to say the truth). Keep the 2d, but give the 3d a better global points weight, that's how i see a promising future to Hwbot.
  9. My 2cents about the Overclcokers League algorithm (i've changed the formula to show how it could be): League Points = A x (MAX(BP;GP)) + 2xB x (MAX(BP;GP)) + C x (MAX(HP)) + D x (MAX(CP)) A = Top 15 2D points B = Top 10 3D points C = Top 40 D = Top 15 BP = Benchmark Points GP = Global Points HP = Hardware Points CP = OC-ESPORTS Competition Points Let's be fair: who bench for 3D need to know 2D and RAM OC.
  10. Yeah, maybe i'm just overreacting to this new generation of cpu and gpu. I really hope things change and extreme comunity grow more in the next years.
  11. I'm not saying that the extreme overclock is dead by now, what i'm trying to say is that looks like in 10 years from now the extreme oc comunity will live from the past hardware. But that's just my opinion considering this year's high end and mainstream hardware.
  12. The white ones are back! First hand new Galax 1070 and 1080 HOF. Tests made by TecLab/Jacson Schenckel:
  13. France wins = No extreme session Germany wins = Extreme OC session PARTY ALL NIGHT!!
  14. Is there a way to creat a .bat that loop xtu benchmark? That would be awesome
