See a lot of old subs and no comp backrounds being used. Time for rules 101 again?
-
Great score.....and the mod link was a good read....but your submission is invalid.
Holy Cats, look at the dust in that rig.
-
Drank 6 more beers waiting for the page to load, too drunk to submit now.
-
^^^Exactly correct. Good Post.
-
He had very personal reasons for this. The staff is aware of the situation and I hope you respect his decision for now.
Also please refrain sending PMs/emails to him.
Wow. Didn't see that coming.

Everyone is never going to be happy, facts of life
Intel RST has long been allowed and AMD raid xpert is its equivalent from another vendor
Other software caching programs have long been banned
You think it's a nightmare to moderate rst? Try going back through the entire pcmark results and removing all the submissions using RST? Plus all the people using it for over a year and now their results being removed
Similar to Lod this might not be the ideal situation but we think it's the best taking in all the factors
We want a level playing field in the future without impacting existing scores in our ranking, no one said moderation would be easy, it won't, but people know now if there result is out of line they will be asked to explain it, so try it on and see what happens
Blatantly breaking hwbot rules won't just result in submission removal
I'm liking your stance on this. Thank you for the effort.

I don't know who have told you to do what (definatly not me), but there are no restrictions on CPUZ version written in the AM3 rules - effectively that means what I said: use whatever version that correctly displays frequencies and so on. That's the only reason we want CPUZ tabs to be included in the first place. Same for the general rules, no version requirements. And if someone pointed you to the CPUZ benchmark rules, well... that's a mistake. CPUZ benchmark rules have NOTHING to do with AM3, or any other benchmark than CPUZ:)
I'm not arguing with you. 99% of the time I agree with you.
The stuff I had to delete wasn't CPU-Z related, but just as stupid and foolish. That was my only point. Water under the bridge now, not a big deal.
Can we just get the rules completely updated.........please......soon?
-
UPDATE THE GOD DAMN RULES !!
Do you think rules are not that important?
How do you intend to enforce accurately what isn't yet written?
The old rules don't cut it anymore, due to many 'un-written', yet enforced rules, and quite frankly, I'm F'ing sick of it. The picking and choosing whats enforced and on whom is getting ridiculous.
-
Whatever.
UPDATE THE GOD DAMN RULES PAGE !!!
Not but a week ago I had to delete 20 of a team mates subs for just the same foolishness as this. If you're going to pick and choose what's enforced and on whom, then don't even bother updating it. There's always gonna be an excuse.
-
My bad. I thought this was all changed in the new rules page that we're still waiting for.
By your reasoning that means this is still valid too.
http://hwbot.org/news/882_application_10_rules/
But by all means, let's make it easier for the slackers to submit BS screenshots. Kinda defeats the purpose of rules, wouldn't you say?
Hmmm......
http://hwbot.org/news/7914_rules_update_2012_hwbot_general_rules_and_guidelines
section 2.1 says you're wrong.
and section 2.2 obviously hasn't been updated.
Finally, the sub is NOT valid by reason of the rules that you DO enforce, right here.
http://hwbot.org/news/885_application_13_rules/
Not using current CPU-Z.
-
Honestly, there is no reason that you can't use CPU-Z. There are others that have with no problem even at your high OC and XP. Random example:
http://hwbot.org/submission/2274948_theking_3dmark06_radeon_hd_7970_41912_marks
It's not working for you because you're on the edge of stability, and this makes your SS invalid. Stop trying to skirt the rules and run a good submission. It's up to the person making the submission to supply a rules conforming SS, not the staff to give you alternatives. There are exceptions, but that is usually for just super old hardware.
-
Have you messaged the captain of that team? Maybe there is a password involved.
-
Workaround:
Make a normal submission but 'accidentally' select dice or LN2 on the cooling. Let the system upgrade you to the OC league then edit or delete the sub.
-
-
Hehe, an Backup:p
Have you more? I will rebench it, when you have 20k Backup, you take the gold cup
I see your ego is on LN2.

Its still allowed change sector size gives huge boost in VS.
I dont like it, Massmann allowed it after Team Cup.
It would seem that you leave no stone unturned in looking for loopholes in the rules. It's very discouraging.
Massman may have givith that time, but Massman can takith away just as quickly.
As far as I've read anywhere, it has not been determined 100% whether it's legal or not..........yet.
-
So.....when exactly are these BS scores to be blocked/removed? I see more piling up every day.
-
Not worried. Shows we're an honest team.
Thanks Pete.
-
Damn. I'll have him run it again.
Really though, the score is not out of line, and you know it.

My winbond also can do CL1.5 but has a limit of 3 for Trcd starting from 230mhz.
BTW, Mr.Scott, try setting CL in A64tweaker - the right CL to choose for CL1.5 is *1.0 in A64tweaker for me. My system also fails to boot with CL1.5 set in bios - i think however it is the limitation of A8N.
I will try this. Thanks.

Doesn't really matter, the resolution isn't visible in your SS, thus invalid sub.
