This bench is single threaded yet listed as multithreaded, definitely would be a low priority but can we get it moved to a single threaded ranking? https://hwbot.org/benchmark/system_stability_tester_32m_pi/

IMHO the spirit of cheapaz is hard mods. AFAIK it started out as a comp centered around encouraging people to take out the iron and IMHO it should stay that way. If we don't want to do a graphics card then I think mobo igp is good cause most mobos with igps suck and require hard mods. Also specific mobo igps may be tough to acquire but in general low end mobos with igp shouldn't be. So perhaps don't say do <this> mobo igp and just say comp is limited to mobo igp?

I would love to see NVIDIA 6100 integrated graphics with limitations of no ddr2 and only socket 754. The boards are less than 20$ and most of the time come with a cpu and ram. It could be interesting to see a board with integrated graphics in a comp.
I think a mobo igp based comp could be interesting wether it be nvidia igp or intel GMA or even integrated ATI. Would be limited to dx9 benches at the max but that still offers some like ice storm, and everything older than vantage.

1st gen GCN has had a fair bit of love in the past, why not 2nd or 3rd gen this time around?
Something like Unigine Heaven would be good to see imo3rd gen would be good if we're going for less popular. 2nd gen has almost as many stages as 1st gen imho

1075T definitely exists. I reviewed one by myself in 2010:
AMD Phenom II X6 1075T @ Planet 3DNow! (September 2010)
I don't have this cpu anymore so I only can help with proof of existence...
Obscure Paradox is correct, I have a sample of HDT75TFBK6DGR, it's HDT75ZFBK6DGR that seems to be vaporware
-
Core unlock seems to fuck over io, so my homemade "ram" using 6x ssds is not so good
-
Looking for a number of am3 cpus that seem tough to find/vaporware/few ever made. List is as follows:
Phenom II 42 TWKR BE
Phenom II 415 BE, 420 BE, 425 BE,
715 BE, 615 BE, 620 BE, 915 BE, 945 BE (there should be at least a few of each of these in existence, although though probably about as scarce as twkr)Phenom II x4 970 BE Zosma (I have a dead one, now to get a working one
)
Phenom II x4 650T (not sure how rare it is but I can't find it in the US)
Phenom II x4 1075T BE (may exist, if you can find any proof beyond https://www.techpowerup.com/128460/amd-silently-deems-phenom-ii-x6-1075t-a-black-edition-part-starts-listing-in-europe that it exists that would even be welcome)
Also interested in any non-retail naming equivalent AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ Engineering Sample cpus like http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Phenom II X4 - ZD250117K4D12.html.
If you have any of these or info on them comment below or PM me and we can try to work out pricing.

controversial one this I'm sure, but I always see Core 2 Quads benched on P45, why not limit it to X38 and X48 so that the quad cores finally get to see some action on the big boy platforms since that's a lot more challenging to do. (exclude the Core 2 Extreme though)
Indeed that is controversial, I'd take dual core on non asus x48 over non p45 quads and I don't even bench s775 much at all
-
Would be cool to see a tahiti core or gcn 1 cores only stage. I loved OC on that arch, was more straightforward than it has become.

939 Αthlon 64 Single core
HWBOT x265 Benchmark 4k
Maybe bump it down to 1080p? That should take long enough on k8 1c plus it won't need as much ram

Non intel/AMD super pi stage
Memory restrictions? I can try to get a zhiaxin or whatever the Chinese ryzen cpu is lol

Hmm I like this one, although it gets expensive fast and and hwbot doesn't really have a storage bench worth using plus the whole sata 850 Evo "driver" issue...
-
Tbh it'd probably be fine, there was a am3 cinebench stage with no thuban allowed, and the team I was on was the only one to show up with all 6 core cpus. So we'd still see plenty of 1st gen phenoms

Ok, idea doesn't work unless we don't allow unlocking, cause then it'd be only singlecore + denebs again...
Is there more than 1 dual core deneb on the socket?
-
I like it, just open ended to allow a ton of different hw while also basically specifying we see what we normally don't.

whatever holds the record at the start of the comp I guess.
I mean how hard would it be to just say no 1151, no 3rd gen ryzen?
So total stack would be like no 939, 775, 1150, 1152, or 3rd gen ryzen.
Still pretty simple and allows for decent scores but no wr/gfp

Oh hell yeah
Allso please do something with original Phenom(prefferably multicore, maybe something like 1,2,3,4 cores (am2(+) cpus only, ddr2 stage ofc), would techically only need original phenom in 3 core slot), i know they are boring, but pretty sure they get forgotten in every single competition, either it's a64 x2 or ph 2
Or for a bunch of fun just say am2+ and see people hunt down the few deneb chips while still getting a mainly 1st gen phenom stage. Could be a nice continuation of the "am3 no thuban" cinebench stage from two years ago.

so I assume it's okay to keep the DDR 1-2-3-4 formula
I like this idea, could we also add a section for misc benches? So we could things like a classic "ddr1-2-3-4 mem frequency" or a dog pile stage with no mem restrictions either on something relatively easy to run on slightly older hw or for a dx9 3d bench. Basically any stage that wouldn't fit into a single mem type well would go into misc category. Also would be good as I think more than one dog pile stage overall is probably too much.

6 hours ago, jiccman1965 said:Bit hard to run this bench unless you have a mass amount of ram tried to run with 32gig said it was not enought.
Ycruncher 10b uses over 40gb of ram, so on most platforms you need to use a 64gb kit, 48gb of ram is probably the minimum. If you don't have enough ram you can configure it to use disk either through a page file or the better way swap mode. http://www.numberworld.org/y-cruncher/guides/swapmode.html
The nice thing about swap mode is you don't need to configure a proper raid, just point it to the drives you want to use and it will do its own sort of raid without needing to overwrite other data you might have on your drives.

On OC esports web is limitations:LIMITATIONS
Only Intel LGA 2011, LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150, LGA775, LGA771 or older single CPU sockets are allowed ( ES allowed )
In case of doubt videoproof must be provided to the moderators
Please attach a picture of your running overclocking rig.
Processor must be idle/load and at positive temperatures (HWinfo64 or OHM readout)
A full verification screenshot is required including CPUZ cpu, memory and mobo tab. No clipping, the taskbar and windows time need to be visible.
Xeon CPUs allowed up to max 6 cores
submit using competition background https://i.postimg.cc/P5MDBTPy/200106-Challengers-Final-1080p.jpgWhere is OS limit? Thx for reply
You must also follow the rules for the benchmark on hwbot, competition page rules are additional rules. https://hwbot.org/news/887_application_15_rules/

Huuuuuuge score! Bet nobody on the bot has the will to beat this one any time soon

Just to clarify since I've not been home a few days. I've got 1 or two gold scores that I'd like to post but I'm happy to do so with points disabled, would that be allowed?
Backups are fine, it's just resubbing existing scores that's not okay
