SuperPI 32M Low Clock - Fastest Per Architecture
chew* replied to Massman's topic in General overclocking
Would have thought in 5 years...someone would have dug up some effeciency on llano by now...versus one run showing an example of what llano could do... -
I am bored....think zen is to...time to shake things up.... Maybe if someone copies my settings they can go fast... I do not share bench settings of course...so you are on your own for that....but my prime stable settings I do share and those are good enough to beat everyone but zen Just for the hell of it i tested 4.2....people still slow in the higher than 4 gig range....probably more in this but something came up so i had to shut rig down.
-
Here Flanker......I ran one so you could see actual ram speed..... This is the bar that basically K7 and taichi have set.......this is the standard...anything less is slow and not competitive.... You can ask zen......this is extremely fast for 3200.
-
Really need to be in 17's to 18s range @ only 3200 memory to be a competitive board now. I am knocking out low 18s on taichi with on 12-11-11 3200 no bclk. Gain from the next memory divider is about 3s...if you can hold timings together and not slack them. 3200->8:17 3333->8:14 3466->8:11. Any board doing less is slow. For cold i just tune @ 2666 now since its guaranteed and work my way up once cold.
-
Its Black and White, it's Taichi which is a form of Kung fu. I dub thee kung fu panda. 3333 strap ( bad imc )
-
Except...lol i ran out of rearms in my shots..
-
ok so where did we leave off........high 18's. Taichi wants in so..... quick and dirty still learning board for 32m......seems a touch slow but we will work with it. Old tweaks are the best tweaks......I love my authentic windows pop up tweak.... anyway give me a week to work through this taichi and get a k7 replacement to fill up my bag of sand again with my crappy imc.....
-
Hold on hold on taichi wants to enter the arena lol...K7 died. Needs rma oops...
-
Want to make it more challenging...limit it to 5 gig...imo sub 6:59 is super easy...sub 6:59 is a challenge @ 5 gig sort of...i have calculated 6:46 to be realistic @ 5.0 with crappy mem speeds... A 5.4 chip can do 5:59....now that is a challenge... What your going to get is just some sloppy high clocked innefeccient score that someone wallet wins just to cash in. Make it $50 first to 6:59 @ 5gig $150 first person to 5:59 any speed... Then you will see impressively tuned proper runs

Veeeeeeesta for wprime multithreaded. Xp for single core. -
I would not worry about it flanker. If someone does not run 32m properly soon you know the old saying.... If you want it done right. Do it yourself. I will run it...but i no longer submit results.

Do you have sleep enabled on your system? -
Before i start posting results...and to verify that zens runs are legit to lets watch a video so i do not have to curb stomp someone that accuses us 8:22 range 8:21 range yah ask me for subtimings on this..........Best tweak ever used to get the wee little asus b350 this fast...... 8:20 range 8:19 range 8:18 range? well you saw the video......I will hold them for now Here's one more I just knocked out before wife came home.......chased the b350 down with less power.....Agesa and subtimings my arse. cmos battery removed tweak...balance on pci slot for better times...... Btw...my chips imc sux.....when life hands you lemons......make lemonade.
-
I know we are not supposed to be sharing our tweaks zen.......but I can't help it so I will share 1 for now.....
-
Want me to come bench it for you to? Just sit back and just watch the show. Want to be fast put in the work like we did.
-
Since these slackers are boring I guess me and my bench partner will go toe to toe. One thing is for sure...like racing....objects in our mirrors are losing.. Ok Zen lets have some fun.....I know you got backups and my avatar tells people what I carry around with me.....lets see who has the bigger bag of sand here. Lets start off small to flush one of them out. Almost forgot...RGB tweak ftw...wait till i turn the board lights on!!!!
-
Ok first up to show you guys the struggle with less cache......these are seriously tuned hard runs. First one was at same settings I nailed 7:29 on 1800x No BS just the facts..... Hammered the IMC so hard I killed a stick....I hear that's fairly hard for B-DIE After smoking a stick of 3200 bin fighting the imc coldbug I decided to go do some far more relaxing easy air runs.... Good enough for second in the LCC...not bad for a lil 79.99 clearance rack board. Maybe getting beat by a little b-350 is enough poke and prod for people to start tuning 32m hard

Effeciency
-
Ok so I said 7:3x was possible @ 4.6. Kind of sorry that I have to disappoint you but....I just decided to skip 7:3x.... Maybe this will be enough of a poke to get people to actually start running 32m and stop playing footsies with it. Checkmate Charles Moving on to my next victims...

You guys can use any of my material freely. I am just here to show people what is possible nowadays. Bios is available to public. Let me link it... AX370GamingK7.F4a.zip - Google Drive
-
Take the timing allowance with a grain of salt. K7 needs some bios work if plan on using ref clock plus cold. Those of you willing to work through its fixxable issues try "auto" for multi when using ref clock. Use Ryzen master in windows to bring cpu clock multiplier up to a more desireable level.
-
Maybe things will get interesting now......
-
That was -40c...nasty coldbug range.
