  1. I will say hands down that Titan should not be allowed, like was said its locked by nVidia and requires extensive board modifications to be competitive. GTX 770 Lighting has been seen (at least in Taiwan http://www.ninjalane.com/n6148/MSI-GTX-770-Lightning-in-the-Wild) and is nothing more than a chip change GTX 680. Deciding on a benchmark is so difficult. Benchmarks: Wprime 1024m (just to be different), 3DMark Fire Strike, 3DMark 06
  2. I believe that Mpower is in fact "unlucky" Power given that M is the 13th letter. I was going to go with "legal" power but that would only be true in Japan.
  3. Looking forward to the new format. Despite not being able to go last year I'm still going to try and qualify, should be fun.
  4. Novel idea renting an apartment for Computex, lots cheaper than a hotel room. I am hoping to be there for the show and should be around afterwards so I could hang out and overclock ^^ My time will be limited since I'll be there working but you never know.
  5. Should be a good competition and a great way to show off the new 3DMark!. Not to look at the gift horse and kick him in the balls but I find it disturbing that to enter the contest you need a MSI Z77 motherboard when all of the prizes are MSI Z77 motherboards. I guess this contest will be for the fame, fortune and hand-me-downs. ^^ Sadly no MSI Z77 in my box of hardware so, I'll just have to sit this one out. *grabs popcorn*
  6. Good times. I'm interested to see the new line
  7. Might just be me but it would seem that the two studio lights are flipping people off at 1:08. I am soooooo offended right now
  8. Damn I missed out. teach me for not attending Computex on the last day.
  9. Do you know what time you'll be getting started?? is this like first thing? and will you be at the booth or the suite?
  10. There are a couple of really big problems when it comes to parties/dinners during Computex. the first is venue, most places in taiwan get upset if you bring a large group of people and don't tell them. Of course they will want to charge you to hold the event but its mostly to make sure they have enough people working that night. Keep in mind most places there are extremely small so any group over 6 might be turned away. The other issue is money. I held an after party the past two years for my media friends and it wasn't cheap (and sometimes didn't work out since most had already left town or didn't want to attend). It was still fun but can get expensive really quick. Not saying it can't be done, you just need a good "local" friend and a little planning.
  11. I'm in the 9th is hell on the show floor so I never go on that day
  12. This has been an ongoing thread for awhile, not sure if anyone from Idaho posted prices but I get 180ltr tank which costs me $150US. Price includes LN2 and a month of tank rental. There is $30US tacked on for the delivery and a pickup charge when I am done. Works out to be roughly .83 cents a liter not including delivery charges Large tank usually lasts me about two weeks depending on how much benching I do.
