In the hardware media world the Computex show isn't even considered until after CeBit. With that being said it is too early for me to know for sure. Chances are I'll be there sweating my arse off looking for the next oasis of LN2. I hear the stuff can cool you down pretty fast. ^^

It was good to see everyone in Vegas and too bad the schedule didn't allow for me to swing by the bench house. From what I hear Kingston was pleased with the HyperX OC Event so maybe there will be more in the future.

I fly out tomorrow, should be wheels down around 2:30pm Vegas time, then two hours later I get to start working. Whoever said CES was "fun" must be doing it wrong.

Getting a bench house is a great idea, lots of empty houses in the Vegas area. i'm set with a hotel but might be able to stop by, i opted for a rental this time so it will be easy to get around.

Looks like I got my invite email the other day. It appears that after filling it out I am a legit visitor.

Picking a video card to run will be the real question. Might have to pick up a new processor though.

I'll be there, heck I live too close to Vega "not" to go There is usually an XS event but I never have time to go. One year it was a poker match, another year it was overclocking stuff and live music. I think last year they hit the desert in 4x4's Bottom line I wouldn't expect much aside from a week full of after parties and people trying to scam you on the walking bridges. On a related note, I have been trying to get info on the Kingston event but my contact doesn't seem to want to talk to me, or has my emails going to /dev/null, either wouldn't' surprise me. I do plan to be there, would just like to make it a little more official.

Looks like I am set to attend CES and will be stopping by the competition. With any luck I'll get an invite "inside the ropes" to throw off everyones game (eg take some photos)

At least you land at night, everytime I go to taipei i land at 5:30am which makes for a long day when you factor in jetlag.

Assuming this would only apply to those using non-lightning cards?? I'm of the opinion that the photo of your benching rig just needs to be qualified more. For instance the photo should be of the system at the end of the run and should have all of the verification information including video card and screen with benchmark value/score. If all that won't fit in one shot then grab a pic of the rig with the screen in the background and then do a close up of the screen. (ie two photos) Yes, video would accomplish the same goals but, again, I'm of the opinion that if a score comes in question -AND- it is a deciding factor for the winner then have them re-bench over livestream/ustream -or- offer up a video for each run in question. Long story short, no mandatory video though, leave it up to the individual if they want to make one in lieu of doing a livestream/ustream verification,

This is the key point of this whole thread digression. One more day! I'm really excited to see what my watercooled GTX 650 Ti Boost will do with my 4770K. The processor will run 5Ghz if it wasn't over 100F outside. Damn heatwave.

I was told the 780 Lightning wouldn't be available until August. Maybe that was a the world wide availability date or just something they made up. Either way crossin my fingers.

Seems like a good thing to me. Really too bad its one person teams but in the end the fame usually goes to one person so its a moot point cept for those looking for a free ride to Taiwan
