  1. Production chain using french quality workers for the first batch
  2. Please post here if you want to add a card which is currently not listed as working. Locate the VRM controller and note the markings. Preferably also take a high res picture showing the VRM and some of the surrounding area for tracking alternative soldering points. Check if the VRM controller is already supported or listed under possibly working. If not try to locate the datasheet. If you can't find any, post here and me or someone else will try to help. If you found the datasheet and can confirm it has 2-wire, I2C or SMBus support (PMBus is also supported), find the pins SDA, SCL and GND (any ground point will do) and connect them to the corresponding pins on the eVc device. After this connect the eVc to your computer and in the eVc software choose "Menu" at the top and then "Find devices". Post the result (a screenshot or just note what it says) here and I'll get working on it. 3. Here you'll be able to find the latest software for the eVc device. Current version 1.0b5 * The software requires .NET Framework 3.5 Fully supported cards MSI HD7870 HAWK MSI GTX680 Lightning MSI GTX770 Lightning MSI GTX780 Lightning ASUS HD7870 TOP ASUS GTX780Ti DC2 ASUS GTX980 DC2 Reference HD7790 with NCP/PCP81022 Reference RX480 with IR3567B (Should also work with Fury/Fury X) EVGA EPOWER 2.0 Generic VT1165 Generic uP6208 Generic uP1983 Generic NCP81022 (aka PCP81022) Partially supported / work in progress MSI HD7970 Lightning (use GTX680 Lightning profile) Downloads eVc v1b5 eVc v1b4 140906 eVc v1b3 eVc v1b2 eVc driver Other resources Driver installation guide
  4. How to install the eVc driver. Drivers can be found at http://elmor.se/index.php/2013-12-19/new-evc-beta-software-driver/ Driver installation on Windows Vista/7/8 Plug the device into your system. From the Device manager (Run -> "devmgmt.msc") right click the eVc1 device (under "Unknown devices") and choose "Update Driver Software...". In the wizard choose "Browse my computer for driver software". Click "Browse..." and locate the driver folder from the downloaded eVc software package, then continue to the next step. Your system should now find the driver and notify you that the driver has been successfully installled. (There might be a warning saying the driver is unknown, install it anyways) Your device should now be visible under "Universal Serial Bus devices". And you can start using the device by starting the eVc software.
  5. Glad you found something to kill your time with on the plane lol

    eVc ordering

Currently I have 3 pieces left with the possibility of 2 more. I will ship out according to the order of the requests in this thread and contact each person individually. Probably I'll ship out on Monday since the post office is closed for the weekend.

    eVc ordering

Sorry but the current stock is only enough for the MOA contestants I think. I'll let you guys know after tomorrow.

    eVc ordering

Thanks Pieter, was just about to make that myself Next beer is on me! Guys: I'll try my best to get as many as possible out there. The maximum stock I think is somewhere around 20-25 so we're pretty much at the limit right now. If anyone at MOA feel their soldering skills are good enough to handle 0603 SMD components I wouldn't mind getting some help producing these!

    eVc ordering

For ordering, send me a PM with quantity and an address! Package includes device, USB cable and connector cable.
  11. Hey Trouff, are you doing some part of the project we were discussing before?

    eVc by elmor

VID-mods are quite simple, what is the issue with those VRMs?

    Yes that is very likely.

    eVc by elmor

It's still in the development phase since I'm a bit busy with other things at the moment, but in a month or two it should be possible to make them available on a bigger scale. NCP5388 doesn't have a digital interface, just external VID control. Not sure about NCP5395 but NCP5392 doesn't have it either so I'm quite sure there is none on the NCP5395 either unfortunately.
  15. It's the people at MSI vga r&d you should thank, I just spam their email inboxes
  16. Untested potential CB/CBB mod for 560Ti-448 TF3/PE:
  17. Which GTX650Ti Boost card more specifically?
  18. Seriously T0lsty, why such a negative tone all the time? It's starting to piss me off. This stuff is not provided officially by MSI, I've pushed them to find solutions to the cold issues because people asked me for it and instead of just giving it to them personally I posted it here so it'd be as fair as possible for the competition. Would you rather prefer that nothing was released?
  19. If someone can confirm CBB mod is needed for the TF3 card I'll ask for it.
  20. Alright, I got a bios for the TF3/PE card. It's untested though so if someone could confirm that would be great http://elmorlabs.com/files/560ti448tf3pe.zip
  21. No word yet, it's gonna be at least until next week.
  22. Thanks for confirming! Should be no problem, hopefully tomorrow.
