  1. 400 base clock straight boot, no issue http://valid.x86.fr/wsjpwm Please be patient with bios releases, shouldn't be much longer.
  2. Should be higher when others get the bios, this is mostly a quick show of what's possible on LN2 with a random chip.
  3. I'm pretty sure you'll beat my LN2 results easy, this was the only retail chip I had laying around Weekend should be interesting.
  4. Score comparison table Screenshots here: http://imgur.com/a/LFNus
  5. Some more info about the unlocking. What you need to know is that it's just a simple BIOS update and that it's experimental = not suited for 24/7 use. For example any power management will not work using this method. XTU is also screwed up when using this, with scores around 200 points. BIOS for different boards will be released at a later stage when they are more fine-tuned. Don’t use this for K-series CPUs. It might damage your hardware, no guarantees provided. Issues found so far * No IGPU * No dynamic change of CPU frequency * No C-states * No Turbo Mode * CPU temperature reading is incorrect * AVX instructions have very low performance After flashing set the following settings to make it boot into OS with correct CPU speed Advanced\CPU Configuration - Boot Performance Mode -> Turbo Performance Advanced\CPU Configuration\CPU Power Management Configuration - Intel® SpeedStep -> Disabled - CPU C states -> Disabled edit: Added BIOSes edit2: Added Ranger & Pro Gaming edit3: Added Hero Alpha & Formula. 0002 bioses support Windows XP. edit4: Moar boards edit4: Added D3 and Z170I Pro Gaming edit5: Updated broken links

  8. Did you format as NTFS or FAT32? Either way try the other file system. Also try with a different flash drive.
  9. Yes, on the one chip I tested two better cores one worse. The problem is one ratio is quite a lot, I was at 129 BCLK. Might have to try and find a new sweetspot around 100. That's exactly what you can do.
  10. Thought you guys might like this experimental software for maxing out your X99 platform, it allows you to change the ratio for each core individually. Only for ASUS R5E, other ASUS X99 should work in theory but not tested. To fully utilize this function you need to use it along with TurboV Core. When first started it will ask you "Init per core mode?", entering "y" will apply the current max ratio to each core. After that you use TurboV Core only to set your maximum possible ratio. If you want you can just set it to 80 and forget about it until next reboot. Whatever ratio you set in this software will now be applied on a per core basis. The software should run natively on XP and newer. Windows 10 will not work right now due to the way its power management. Let me know if you have any problems.
  11. Wow, such a messy thread. To summarize: Futuremarks RTC check fails on SOC Champion? What about other boards?
  12. Yes this is the best solution if you create your own image, our plan was to provide a solution without having to modify your existing ISO. For Win 7 this was not possible unless you install through a custom Win PE. BTW I don't think it's allowed to link this kind of image in the forum due to legal implications.
  13. Trying not to be pissed off about this, but you just directly copied our guide/files and made it your own. Why not just reference our original guide, there's no vendor limitation.
  14. What you highlighted is not an error and has nothing to do with your ISO content. The problem is that the loader can't find the file "XP.iso" for some reason. Could be anything from hdd/usb configuration to file system problems. First to do is to check that your files are on the drive with correct names. Next you can try to reformat with NTFS or different flash drive.
  15. PS/2 splitter wouldn't work, but USB keyboard/mouse works fine in XP. All other USB devices are a no go, and I don't see a fix coming any time soon. Very hard to justify spending resources on XP, we're just glad that we have it working at all. Honestly have not tried installing from CD drive, but it should work as long as the setup can see the device (AHCI drivers). Any issue using the USB drive method specified in our OC guide? http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=142991 It's a lot faster as well
  16. Can you try formatted as NTFS? Yes should work on other brands as well.
  17. A few people seem to get this issue, which board are you on? As it says it's not finding the ISO for some reason. Could be something with the USB drive, which file system is it formatted with?
  18. Make sure the drive you want to install to is plugged as well (check boot menu or bios). Next step would be to verify that the XP.iso is in the root folder of your drive.
  19. Only on Win 7 or XP as well? Which version of TurboV Core are you using? Anything before 1.0.0.37 causes performance issues even after uninstall, at least in XTU not sure if other benchmarks are affected as well.
