you need to post as a 470 if you have unlocked shaders least thats my 2 cents just look at the gpuz for other 465 entries that should tell you. I would hope you dont see many that say gtx470 and the amount of shaders are correct but i dunno

This is your answer might make validation hard but it is getting pretty old having to sit these contests out. You guys have great contests and I could be wrong but I dont think you promote gulftown products. That being said another awsome contest that a gulftown chip will be needed for.

@samocx never had a problem with cold bug mod during ambient usage with other chips so dont think its that. Even if that were the case ud7 is not modded at all. @hondacity cycles through first part of posting process I will see mobo logo splash screen then it initializes marvell controller just fine but when it tries to to get past that it just starts the process over. I can even get into bios just does me no good............you know what just typing this gave me an idea. Ill try to turn off cores and ht and see where that gets me. Thank you

I just bought a i5 670 from stupid ebay and I am having a wierd problem. The chip will boot, I can get into bios but that is it. I thought maybe it was motherboard but it happens on 3 motherboards one of which is brand new. I contacted seller and we will see how that goes but im not optimistic. Just wondering if this has ever happend to any of you. I have used a 670 on two of the three boards but it was an ES chip ( not sure if that matters) two of the motherboards have been modded for coldbug one is brand new like I said. Is chip dead??? or am I missing something? Now im stuck benching 650 with coldbug @ -90 Motherboards tested ga-p55a-ud7 (not modded) msi-p55-gd85 (cold ,vcore mods) ga-p55-ud6 (cold mod) ALso used a few diffrent sets of memory nothing helps

One of the first ones I tried cold with no OCP and only minor vdroop issues. Runs great at 1.4+ with only minor cap mod done. Not to mention when that card came out I could only afford onboard video on crumby mobo's makes it one of my favorites.

I tried on 775 had similar results could not find a bench to run. Was having problems with futuremark system tool on 3d benches IMO to much headache to try pre release's

I think its a great idea......9800gtx is my favorite card to bench it would be nice to unlock more people to compete with. Not many benching 9800gtx and there kinda hard to find. Its pretty much a buy on site card for me

Do we not need cpu test for 3dmark 05 score? benching gtx 460 right now and it seems the top 40 or so dont have cpu test. I never knew that was ok you need cpu test for orb link no????
