    Beep - na - i bot this boad new. at sompoint i will try a different chip in it - see if the bus spped wall is the board or the chip I killed my last sempron with too much cpu/nb - would like to not do that again!!

    ^^ Denis - thanks, all good ideas - yes, I need to isolate the problem - could be the board or the cpu I guess. I do have other cpus I can use to test the board. Thanks Mafio - was already at #3 trying to improve!
