Lol Well confused, tried a different monitor and its worked straight away. Must be something with my qnix 2710. Thought it had to be something, didn't seem likely that both would suffer the same fault. Looks like my gf will get the 1440p screen for a while while I play with these cards lol Cheers dude

Not having much luck with these cards fella, got no video from either. Had just a black screen, fans spun up and got into windows but like I say no display. Tried using a DVI to HDMI converter and now have a garbled mess on my screen, going to try the other 5770 see what happens, not looking good for either atm

I've been playing with a 4770K under SS too over the weekend and your right! Definitely need LN2! Going to delid mine first, then perhaps try Dry Ice! Good run for SS though, mine was 1292 XTU

What you've basically outlined here is mostly why I don't do the more modern GPUs. Its so much cheaper to pick up some used 3000-5000 Series ATi/AMD GPUs (likewise with Nvidia) and play and not worry about them dying like you would, as you say, a 980Ti. No way would I v mod anything like that lol Not that I've Hard Mod anything yet, but again older gen stuff is the best, imo, place to start that. I do prefer the 3D stuff more than the 2D, but I don't pay as much attention to the points but I will look to see what I can do point wise with the CPU I have available to run. Doubt I'll be doing much Vantage as you seem to need a crazy fast 4C/8T CPU to compete with the Extreme edition CPUs lol

4770K has arrived mate, hopefully have it all setup on Sunday. Wish I had the means for LN2, best I can do for now is Dry Ice, be running Phase 1st though
