Wallpaper for next stage will be "revealed" after that 2 XTU hours submission window, or during that time. Wallpaper for 3rd stage will be revealed during submission time for 2nd stage and so on...you get the idea. At least that's what I understood. My goal was 2666, but not gonna happen. Board is loosing 2nd channel or very unstable at over 2600. Maybe it's the IMC, or it needs 2T, dunno. Also tried BBSE - no go. I may try again on a Gigabyte board without UEFI.

Why XTU? This leaves AMD users and Intel guys with older platforms out of the lucky draw. It makes more sense giving a chance to people that still don't have current-gen Intel platforms to win a new generation intel mobo.

Yes, I have used this method for 7970 Lightning, since I never managed to get the ABX (if you open some of my 7970 submissions you can notice ArtMoney ). So it really works and see no reason it doesn't for other cards if there's no other limitation and the voltage is programmable with software in real time. My advice is try to do it with clocks slider first to get familiar with the process, although it's not hard at all. When you find the correct address to modify, just name it e.g "VGPU" and save it. Next time just load the saved address and only change the value.

Not sure what is the max without mods, I had it modded from some of the previous competitions. I think it was 272 without mods and 284 with mods Maybe I should try older drivers, that might be the problem.

Did you try another card on cold? All I have tried on air usually get into the 270-280 range. Looking at the charts, only poparamiro managed 290 out of it and it's a non-reference design. It even has a power connector. Maybe that's the card to look for.

1.7-1.75, higher was making it worse, but with epower it could handle 1.8+ I think.

Yes, I put boost and normal clocks and voltages to the same level, but it was freaking out with higher voltage, although temps were not high. It was the same on chilled water. And I had to drop the mem clocks to 1500, when the gpus were clocked high.

Yes, out of 5 different models GF3's I have only one that does above 600. Maybe a specific chips to look for, but I don't have enough knowledge about these cards. Speaking about gpus though, mine could run 330-340 nature on LN2, but other tests were limited to 290-ish. Any higher and the screen goes into "color blocks on black screen" mode.

XA, I can't push them more, because I want to keep the warranty before selling them which means I can't do hardmods. Did only a bios mod, but it f*cks up above 1.3V.

No, I found why after some more tests. I'm not sure if it's only a multi-gpu thing, but if you disable system info the CT goes up. Then I remembered it was used by the Greeks inthe country cup 2012 (the stage with trinity and 3 radeons). Since I don't bench 3dmark11 a lot, I didn't notice at first. Spoke with a moderator, so it should be fine, but if rules had changed and this had been discussed before, then I am ok to remove the score. IIRC I had one 8000+ from the first session on air. There's nothing in the rules about disabling system info is explicitly forbidden. That section is marked with red (as the sectin should be visible in the screenshot), but that's the same for e.g. 3dmark06, 03 and scores with disabled system info are fine, although there's no boost in score. I would say it is "so-so" and maybe the rules should be edited to address this issue. The run is not bugged though, in the sense that clocks were not stable and it blackscreened or something like that.
