The official MSI MOA 2014 Grand final thread.
I.nfraR.ed replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
What batch? Given the timeframe for qualifiers, I would not have a choice for different batches. The one that will be imported will have the same batch for all cpus and we will have to wait for another one, when it will be not sure if it will be available before the qualifiers end. Plus I can't buy many cpus, probably 3 max at a given time, then need to sell them quick to get some more (if available in the stores). -

No chance in Class B for guys like me or you. Not underestimating your skills, but it would require cpu binning, which means one thing - money. And class B is global, which lowers our chances even further. Class A seems easier, but is much more expensive, at least on paper. I might try this year, but haven't decided yet. Plus hardware availability for these components is not existent in Bulgaria. The cpu will probably be available some time next month (if I manage to get one from the first delivery), but the mobo needs to be ordered from abroad. No Lightning either, if I choose class A. -

Common, 3-7-7-15? It really needs CAS 3 to go that high, but other timings could be "tight" without any impact and you have only 3 more MHz to the maximum. -

My bench SATAIII SSD died while running kabini @ 134MHz FSB . It's really the SSD and not the controller, because it is not detected on my main machine too. No way to copy the scores either. -
Ok, thanks and good luck!

I can sell you my passport. Noone else from Bulgaria will try to compete, so you only have to beat other EMEA guys. Simple, eh? The price won't be low, though... better spend the money for binning -
Why not work directly with the author and avoid creating additional complications/bugs with a wrapper? I guess he could easily modify the ui to suit hwbot needs, then only that version would be allowed.

Why the special high price? EVGA site has it at 59 epower + 89 evbot, although evbot seems unavailable atm. I'm interested, but not for that price Do you sell evbot only and what would be the price?

You can't use whichever slot you want on DFI NF4 board -
I use this Voltcraft: PL120 T2. Seen other people use it too. You would need different probes though. I had a link with good enough cheap K-type probes (there is some differences in accuracy between samples, but they were so cheap you could even bin them Link is not active anymore, so I can't recommend anything, except to buy from a proven source like kingpin or der8auer. PS: I think it was this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K-type-Thermocouple-Temperature-Measurement-Probe-/360847662798?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5404325ece * Just make sure you're getting the T2, because the seller listed T2 cheaper than T1 and both have the T1 description. Link is just the first one I found on ebay. I think both 120 and 102 will work the same - they are almost identical, except design and display.

But I managed to corrupt mine in 15 minutes or so I have to reflash the chip and can show you that I can do it on the DFI too. -

Why should I explain anything when it's not my score that is questioned? And no, High/Realtime priority does not give you 30% increase in score. More like 1-3%. If I were you, I'd make a video of a full Cinebench run from opening the benchmark to the finish when you get the score. But that's just me, I guess... -

Sorry, but ramdisk didn't gain me anything, except faster load time of the bench. Even if you don't want to show us a video, you will have to prove it to moderators anyway. Good luck.
